Does any Suboxone doctors around here also treat anxiety? I am going through a bad situation and need help with my nerves and my addiction to pain pills. Does anyone know a doctor that will help treat both?

Listen, taking pills isnt going to help either situation.
If you are addicted to pain pills, adding nerve pills into the mix for sure is the wrong way to go.
If you are dealing with a bad situation, DEAL with it.
It isnt going away.
Work it out, learn to live with it, learn to LIVE with it. I also went thru a bad situation, I have gone thru several bad situations in my life, but this last one I thought would surely end me.
But it didnt, I still woke up every day, even when I didnt want to get up out of bed.
I am not one to quote the bible or push religion down your throat, but we are all going to face bad times in life, taking a pill should be the very last resort.
and FYI, if there are doctors out there offering nerve pills to patients who are addicts, then they are part of your problem and you should ask them if they also offer help with your burial expense!!!
Go to counseling, go to a meeting, meditate, read, talk to a trusted friend, exercise, eat healthy, deal with whatever situation you are dealing with head on and face up to it and just know that sooner or later it wont seem that bad.
But stay away from drugs.
Doctor seeking is an outdated activity. Instead of looking for answers in the bottom of a pill bottle, look inside your heart.

I'm no longer on pain pills.

Honey if you are still taking suboxene, then you are NOT clean.
you have taken one to replace the other and whatever reason you were taking them for, is still embedded inside of you.
get counseling, get involved in some drug group therapy, no pills and no nerve pills and dig down inside and find out what is wrong and throw away all the toxins you put into your body.

I actually agree here, somewhat.
If you need to calm down and relax, pot is better than pills anyday of the week and even for some types of pain.
However, just as with prescribed drugs, you have to be able to pass a drug test for a job and some other things.
So, to smoke pot for anxiety or pain, you might need to get a script and is that even possible in KY?
If you arent working and still need some help I would agree.
I would say though if the person is getting suboxene, they are probably monitored.

I'm on suboxone and if u wanna be clean its the only way to go. U r clean but sorry u dont agree. I became addicted to loratab after car accident, then went into methadone treatment which was a piece of cake cause I was higher on it than loratab. Quit methadone cold turkey and been straight with help of suboxone ever since. Staying sober is very hard on subs as compared to methadone treatment. I'm clean either way.

You are correct. Taking suboxone as a form of treatment is not the same as chasing a high with prescription pain pills. And before some of you posters start making assumptions. No, I am not a "druggie" (a term you like to throw around). I do not take pain pills and never have. I just happen to have a better understanding of addiction and suboxone treatment.
No one really wants to be drug addicted. Hearing stories of success gives hope to others.

But what happens when your suboxene program ends?
are you prepared mentally and emotionally to face reality and get back into society?
work, go to school, be a parent, pay bills, live life without the crutch or aid of a pill?
if you are on here asking for nerve pills, then you arent prepared, for nerve pills are just another form of coping out and taking the easy road.
No, its much much harder to just face up to what is wrong and dealing with it head on and letting it work out and move on.
If you are bi-polar, or some other mental disorder such as psychotic, schzo, etc, that is another thing.
But just taking a pill because you are nervous or upset over some little life issue.
One day your suboxene program will come to an end, are you preparing for that day???
Are you going to meetings, counseling, getting educated, exercising, eating healthy???

Hopefully they are preparing for that day. I believe that is part of the program.

no, I'm not the one asking for nerve pills but according to statistics most people who use drugs have some form of mental illness and self medicate to deal with their undiagnosed disease.

Stay off of all drugs, they are all only going to add to your problems. Stop, cold turkey, man up and ride out the withdrawals and then never look back. Get your life in order, only you can, no doctor. Stop using drugs as a crutch.
