The people who get put in jail due to selling to support their own habit according to the new penal code law change are supposed to be given help instead of having the book threw at them. They arrest these small time people in hopes they will tell on a bigger dealer to get themselves out of trouble.

Those of you goody-goody's better not throw rocks when you live in glass houses. Have you ever shared your RX for antibiotics, Motrin 800, Valtrex, Phenagran, Zyrtec, or Diflucan with a family member or friend? Even though there you just gave them what you had left and accepted no cash then this is still trafficking and you can be arrested. Check it out and you will find out that it is the truth. So, you better know the law before you throw ricks at others. KSP might be knocking at your door next. Just sayin'

Did them boys from Caney ever go to trial? Did they have to go to spend any time? Seems like they had several pretrial hearings and taking forever to get to court. McCown and Tackett I think are the names. I moved away from there years ago and like to keep up with who is doping. Help to clean up Pike County!! It's so sad what has happened to what was once a beautiful and safe place to live. Drugs are NOT that bad where I live. I know. My job is to find them no good POS.

You missed the point; I never said kindness. I am just letting you know the laws in the state of ky. Does it mean that I agree with them...no, but the law is the law. Research it since you are so smart. I love how some are so defensive; did I hit a nerve?? Do you share your prescriptions and see nothing wrong with it. If so, let your doctor know about it and see what happens. You are no different than a drug dealer if this is the case. Have fun with your perfect life.

Those who live in glass houses need not throw rocks.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse!!!

If you want to get rid of the REAL dealers then you have to go way higher than any street level dealer or what we consider the big guys.If the g o v wanted to stop drugs they could do it within a week with all the people and firepower they have. The d ru g wa r is a joke and a way to spend billions on other projects while they bring the drugs in to make even more billions. The ones getting busted are the one that fell into the trap. Not saying they aren't to blame as well because they made that decision but someone is going through a lot of trouble to make sure these drugs keep getting to the ones that use them. The po pp y trade hade almost been eli mi nat ed in p aki stan before we got there and now it's up over 120%.

what the person posted in true. Anytime you give a prescription pill to anyone, I don't care who it is, or what it is, it falls under the law. Yes, you can be arrested and taken to court. Know the law before you start posting. You are the one who just made an idiot out of yourself by not knowing the law.

someone says you are making stupid comparisons and you call that defensive? You like to tell people the laws. Well you need to refresh yourself. Its called trafficking in a controlled substance. Valtrex and so forth is not a controlled substance. If not selling pills for money is a perfect life than I have achieved perfection. Those who sell pills from their glass house should overdose and die.
