I have it and have still not been able to get pregnant. My husband and I have been trying for 5 years now with no luck. I have been on medications and they did nothing for me. I wish you the best of luck. I know how difficult and painful it is.

Aw.....I am so sorry for all of you. It must be hard. I only clicked on this thread cuz I didn't know what PCOS was. To be honest I still don't but it seems really bad. I hate it for you guys that you can't have babies. I wish their was something that could be done. I hope something happens for you all soon.

My husband and I have tried for 11 years, countless dr's, so many meds taken, shots, we've traveled all the way to Atlanta and still nothing. I HATE this crap, I mean really, we have to put up with unwanted hair EVERYWHERE, acne, being overweight, high blood pressure, darkening of the skin and the worst part....we cant have babies. I wish the cysts on my ovaries would just go away and never come back.

I was diagnosed with PCOS and endometriosis. Thankfully after 5 years and a miscarriage, I gave birth to a healthy 6lb baby girl. I wish all of you luck. I know how hard and heartbreaking this disease can be.

About a year after my daughter was born I did have to have a hysterectomy at the age of 29. I was just having to many problems and alot of pain.

I first responded to Gracie on this thread. To share a little more, my husband and I conceived twice. However, not long after (about 6 wks) I lost the babies. It kills me to see others with kids that do not care about them. I know I would give anything to have a child of my own. I am sure the rest of you agree with me. It's just nice to know that you aren't alone in this. I wish you all the best in your baby quest!

I have Pcos, have all the symptoms and had no problems conceiving or with the pregnancy. I took Avandia to help during the pregnancy it's a diabetes med and I don't have diabetes but it has a fertility side effect for pcos. I was 27 and 280 pounds when I got pregnant, but had no problems. I gained 36 pounds and lost most of it after. My baby is 4 now and we are thinking about number 2

I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH PCOS AND ENDOMETRIOSIS...DONE A LOT OF RESEARCH ON BOTH...THEY BOTH ARE VERY PAINFUL MEDICAL CONDITIONS...I HAVE HAD 5 PREGNANCIES ALL ENDING IN MISCARRIAGES...3 OF THOSE WERE ECTOPIC OR WHAT YOU WOULD CALL TUBAL PREGNANCIES AND DURING ONE OF THOSE I HAD TO HAVE A TUBE REMOVED...I WISH ALL OF YOU THE BEST OF LUCK IN TRYING TO CONCEIVE...THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS...DON'T GIVE UP!!!! I HAVEN'T AND I KNOW THAT ONE DAY IT WILL EVENTUALLY HAPPEN...JUST TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT GLUCOPHAGE...THEY DON'T REALLY RECOMMEND THE AVANDIA ANYMORE AND POSSIBLY EVEN CLOMID...ONCE AGAIN GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!!!

I hope everything works out for you. Clomid and lots of folic acid is what worked for me. I had to take the folic acid before even getting pregnant. I will be praying for you.

Don't give up hope! It is possible! I won't say that it's easy, but it is possible to carry a baby to term. I am living proof. I have 2 healthy children. My pregnancies were NOT easy and I did have lots of complications. With my first child I had gestational diabetes and had to see my DR every week from 20 weeks on. But she was born healthy at 37 weeks weighing 7lbs 4oz. My next pregnancy unfortunately ended in a miscarriage at 14 weeks. Another miscarriage at 9 weeks. Finally, with my last pregnancy I had pre-eclampsia that turned into full blown eclampsia that landed me in the hospital to be induced at 35 1/2 weeks. Luckily my son was a healthy 7lbs 1oz. Me on the other hand was not doing so well. My blood pressure remained high, I hemmoraged to the point of discussion of hysterectomy. I did end up losing my uterus a few months later to uterin cancer which had been discovered while I was pregnant with my son. But I do have 2 beautiful, healthy children that I never thought I would have, so I am thankful!!!

i am fighting major uphill battles, i have pcos, i am overweight, i am also 42, and trying to get pregnant...i have decided to try for 1 year and if not successful, i am going to stop...it is possible to get pregnant with pcos, if you are on treatments and a weight loss plan...i am on metformin and aldactone, and i exercise regularly, my cycle is returning to normal and i go to have lab work done next week to check my hormone levels....my biggest fear is that if i do get pregnant i will have to worry about downs syndrome, due to my age...but there is amnio which can tell if the baby has birth defects early on,...dont give up on trying
