Why were Shelby Valley Cheerleaders there anyway? I thought cheerleaders only cheered at home games. So maybe they should have stayed home!!!!! Would have saved them from getting their feelings hurt! Its all fun and games until someone gets their feelings hurt!

Getting their feelings hurt? Please. Do you know the difference in getting your feeling hurt and being trashed and insulted. You want to call this fun and games? I don't think so, Pikeville's pep section is out of control. Of course anything they do, they think is wonderful, regardless.
I guess this is their way of showing school spirit, other schools do not act this way.
Pikeville where is your class? Do you know the difference between school spirit and being rude and nasty? Prove it.

Still didn't answer the question of why were Valleys cheerleaders there. Did they come on their own bus or did they ride the bus with the players? Just curious!

Not if they cheered or not but how they were treated. You call yourself a class act and to talk how you set yourself up to be above the county schools. Am I right? Really who. I blame with it all is Michael Rowe. He lets it go on. He needs to think if it was his daughters. They are in fact cheerleaders I bet the whole damn bunch of rowes would have went out on the floor. I guess when you are a bunch of drunks it tends to be funny. Just think he graduated from virgie and use. to be assistant principal and now trying to come back to the county as superintendent. What a joke. Michael stay right where you are at and where you fit in best. The county sure doesn't want or need you. By the way have a drink on us

hmm... I expect teams to play Ethan and Ray extra physical to try to "get in their head" or draw retaliation fouls. That seemed to be the only defensive game plan.. have the trashtalking, bump you any chance during deadballs, use insults including racism (yes those two players from Valley know they did it... i sat courtside and heard it).

Again, the technical on Ray for pointing at the scoreboard was the right call for taunting but the little guard from Valley that was saying to Ray what he said was lucky Ray didnt saddle up and ride him to the ground like Valley had done to Jake and Ethan twice earlier in the game. It is part of the game to be agressive but to cross that line into behavior where players are saddled and rode to the ground was excessive.

That being said, it was good to see calmer heads prevail at the end of the game. It's just one game... and the rematch at Valley should be exciting.

Everyone pickS on Pikeville or so you say. Didn't you try to get one of our players to transfer this year? Didn't you slip into ER at night and pick up 2 of their players? SV is the same School that called the Honaker Twins the N word and threw rocks at the PHS Bus.

At least we had a title team!!! How many title teams has Williams coached. Lol since you have players from other schools will this team be a title team? How many miles is SVHS from PHS? Maybe 10 or 11 and in the same county. If we are hicks does that make you any different hick. There you are calling names. How many players from your team actually come from outside the city limits? You have the same accent and live in the same county.........if we are hicks then so are you.

What kind of school employee would walk across the gymnasium floor and start arguing with students from another school? Remember this is an adult arguing with students. At one point she was poking her finger in the face and chest of a Pikeville student. The principal from Pikeville got in between her and the student until the police got to her. There was even another female with her trying to get her to go back to her side of the floor. Wonder what the superintendent from Pike County and the principal from SV thought about this? I heard they were both in attendance.

Kinda interesting when all of your players come from the county or Canada I'm talking about the first 6or 7 with the exception of 2 ethan and Steve. I'm wondering do any of them pay tuition !!!! I bet not. Maybe someone should make a call about this. Then you say we have one player not from SV when most of your team is from the county or Canada.
