Do you not eat at home? Do you not wear clean clothes? If you both work, it's only fair for both to do the housework. Maybe she is just as tired as you are, no matter if she doesnt work as long. Just because you work longer hours shouldn't make a difference. Do you have kids? Does she take care of them while you do other chores? Hey, kids take a lot of time and patience.

Well, I guess you could not have a wife and do everything by yourself. Then you could do all the "chick stuff" too i.e. cooking and washing clothes.
seriously?!

Chick stuff?!? Are u sh!tting me?! Where, exactly, do u find the definition of 'chick stuff'? With an attitude like urs, ur damn lucky u have a wife. The old school, barbaric attitudes such as urs are changing and for good reason. I am an independent woman and was raised to be such. I can do anything most men can and actually do a lot of it on a regular basis. I mow grass, cut weeds, change the oil in my car, clean, do laundry, cook, raise 2 children and all that other 'chick stuff' to which u refer while working a 40 hr per week job. Now, more importantly than all that...although I CAN do all that, my husband loves and respects me enough to do his part which happens to be whatever needs to be done, chick stuff or otherwise.
A marriage takes 2 people actively working in the household to be successful. One doesn't get to pick and choose what he is or is not willing to do. When that crap starts u have bigger problems than having to demean urself to doing chick stuff. Ur gonna have a wife that eventually gets tired of ur sorry a$$ and sends u packing.

after you finish the house work, you should run her a hot bubble bath, pour her a glass of wine, or non alcoholic beverage, and rub her back and shoulders and praise god she allows you to live in her house!!
lol

So, if you don't do that "chick stuff", what is your fair share? All that you listed was wash the car and cut grass. How do you calculate fair? Do you get two points for every job because its manly while she just gets one point? Hey, you asked for opinions. Not all men think like you do. I make things so easy for my husband. I do everything, and work, and raise three kids. I usually don't ask for help, but when I do, he's right there for me, no matter if its a chick job or not. Actually, I take that back, I don't do everything...he loves to cook.

I must say I wash dishes for my wife, I cook for my wife, don't mind hauling out the trash, after all its the least I can do, truly a real "man" wouldn't be on here B*tching about doing some helpful chores, maybe if you appriciated your wife a little more. I mean it doesn't seem as if it cuts too much into your day your on topix whining about it. Best thing you can do is suck it up tuck your p*ssy back where it goes and get back to your chores, cry baby.

smack that bitch around n give er a black eye or two shell learn real quick and if she dont u might have to get a padlock and a chain and keep her ass tethered in the kitchen till she learns to be obedient just like the bible says. enough with all u pussified men. i agree with the other guy if she still wont listen gitchu a good mountain woman keep her barefoot n pregnant. then u got kids and a woman to do all that womans work round the house. when stupid bitches get all these crazy feminist ideas sometime it aint worth all the effort to retrain em.

Ha!!! Whatever.

My girl asked me what a backhand was once..........once.

My job is to go to work every day. Bring home the serious cash and do whatever I want.

My girl don't work. I don't want her to. She needs to be home, homeschooling "her" young twins from a previous relationship. She gets whatever she wants. I provide for all of them.
She knows she has it better than most woman. The house is spotless, the acreage is well taken care of. Laundry, dishes, trash, all chores complete before I get home.
She shows her appreciation by "wanting" to do all these things. Not "hafting" to.

If she doesn't like it, she knows where the door is. I know several young ladies that would love to take her spot.

I may do a lot for my husband, but I'll tell you one damn thing. If he EVER laid a hand on me, they would NEVER find his body. You need to get thumped worse than a backhand if you treat her that way. She's an idiot for staying with such a pig. I HATE men like you who think that if you throw your money at any woman, she'd come running. Most of us care about the more important things in life...RESPECT

You probably lay around the house on your fat lazy ass taking pills, drawing a check every month.
I don't "throw" money at her you dumb twit, I give her what she wants and she takes care of business.
The "backhand" that I was referring to was an ex gf who spent 2 months of "our" mortgage money on herself, behind my back on drugs that I had no idea she was even on. Nearly costing me my house.

She's lucky a backhand and a boot to the curb was all she got instead of my fist.
