Do you think she will have any democratic backing with an incumbent VP who wants to sit in the big chair? I think she got screwed by her own party? I think she'd make a decent POTUS, but I feel Washington is tired of the Clinton's.... Just my opinion?

Yeah, she will. No one is going to support Biden over Hill.

Thieving bitch still has the White House silverware from Bill's last term. She probably ate with it while watching Benghazi burn. Treacherous, evil self centered bitch will promise the blacks and illegals anything to get elected. Having said that she would be 100 times better than the race mongering Kenyan in there now . Ain't that a sorry assessment of what this country has become? It's a crying shame that Obozo's statement that he could have been Trayvon 35 yrs ago didn't come true back then.

If the Democrats want to win in 2016 they should avoid nominating Hillary Clinton or any of the other Washington insider crowd associated with the Obama administration and go with a governor. The short list is:

Michael Dale "Mike" Beebe (born December 28, 1946)– Arkansas

Steven Lynn "Steve" Beshear (born September 21, 1944)– Kentucky.

Steve Bullock (born April 11, 1966)- Montana

Earl Ray Tomblin (born March 15, 1952)– West Virginia

Only two names on this list really stand a chance of winning the South: Steve Beshear and Mike Beebe.

A third party has about as much chance of winning as a snowman has in hell. A serious third party contender on the right would simply draw off votes from the Republican candidate and virtually insure a Democratic victory. Example: Ross Perot's candidacy threw the election to Bill Clinton. A serious candidate on the left (which is extremely unlikely) would draw off Democratic votes and give the election to the Republican.

If there is any kind of three way race, it is far more likely to be because of a split within the Republican Party - the result of a nasty divorce between its libertarian and Christian Right element. That scenario would also lead to a Democratic victory. The historical precedent / example for that would be the Democrats in 1860. That split led to Abraham Lincoln's election, something that most likely would not have happened if the Democrats had united behind a single candidate.

However, if they are smart (there is no evidence of that at this point) both the Democrats and Republicans will turn to younger "dark horse" candidates.

That attitude will get the Democrats absolutely nowhere. It is in fact a sure way to keep the South solidly Tea Party Republican.

Point is if they are to break the deadlock in Washington the Democrats have to win the South back. To do that, they have to rebuild a modernized version of the old middle-of-the-road "Blue Dog" New Deal Southern Democratic party. They will never do it as long as the party is branded with the "welfare ghetto inner city - New England - California liberal" identity that it has now. They will have to have a presidntial candidate with "I'm good old church-going down home Southern folks just like you" appeal to lead the way.

Problem is the Democrats don't have many presidential-material candidates that fit that description. Steve Beshear fits it best, but his problem is his age. He will be 72 in 2016. If elected he would be the oldest president ever - 2 years older than Reagan.

And whoever the Democrats nominate, he/she will most likely be up against Rand Paul, who has the image of being young and energetic.
