Ok. So my hubby want to get our 5 month old girls ears pierced and I don't think we should I think she needs to be older so she can decide of she wants them. But he wants to get them done while she is little he says it wil be easyer to get them done know. What are you options ? Oh and her dr said it would be okay to get them done now.

Look at all of the women around you. Just about every single one of them have their ears pierced. And just about all of them still wear earrings. We had our daughters ears done when one was 2 and the other 2 months. They both still wear earrings. I think that it will be okay. She may be uncomfortable for the first few days, but then she'll stop slapping at her ears.

I just want to see what other thought about it. There is no need for rude comments. I was just asking what other people thought about it.

It's so much easier to have it done while she is little. That way she want pick at them and get them infected. I got my daughters done when she was 6 weeks old. She's 8 now. Never had a problem.

I had my nieces done at 16 months old, she didn't even flinch; but I did give her Tylenol for pain about 3 hours later.
The very next day, she was fine.
My best to you love.

I would wait until she is old enough to tell you she wants them pierced. They are her ears not yours!

Well, if you ain't white trash.

Sure sign right here.

5 months old, you piece of trash. Stop using a bottle of Thunderbird to raise your child.

I can already see we have another Pikeville winner here- a child with zero chance at life and yet another generation in Pikeville to flush down the toilet.

If You Don't Think You Should....Then Don't!!!...I Don't Think You Should Either....And If Her Dad Want's Pierced Ears....Then Tell His Ass....That He Has Two Ears Of His Own He Can Get Pierced....

Hubby Says It will Be Easier???....Then Ask Hubby This....Who Will It Be Easier On???...Because a Pierced Ear at 5 Months....Hurts The Same as a Pierced Ear a 5 Years.... Just Because a Baby Doesn't Make as Much Noise Over The Pain....Doesn't Meant It Didn't Hurt....And What The Hell Does Your Husband Know About Pierced Ear Pain???...

Remember This Babe....Your Little Girl Grew Inside {You}....{You} Carried Her For Nine Months....{You} Gave Birth To Her....The Only Physical Involvement Mr Husband Had....Was Getting Him Some Nookie...and Blowing His Load!!!!...The Rest Was Left To You.....So You Get More Of a Say-So In The Matter...I'm Not Saying It's Dangerous....Or Harmful To Your Daughter....I'm Just Saying That If {You} Think She Should Be Older.....Then By-Damn!!!...She Should Be Older!!!....It's Also In The Bible Too....

Just Tell Hubby ItÂ’s In The Bible.....And Also Tell Him That This Is Not Of His Concern....Yet!!!....His Roll In Parenting Will Come When She Is 14 or 15....And Young Boys Come a Sniffing Around....{That's} When His Roll Kicks In....

You are the parent you decide. I've heard people say that that would be too young to have that done but the child will not remember that. Think of all the boy babies that are circumcised, no one thinks twice about that and I imagine that would be more painful. So, I would not think having a her ears pierced at that age is a serious thing.
