Allow me to answer this for you. You DON'T know, and you DON'T care. You're just a brain washed liberal and you cannot think for yourself. Just like Obamacare, you know NOTHING about it, but I'm sure you think it's GREAT just because Ovomit said so. And then, just like the rest of his sheeple do towards the opposition, you play the race card. How pathetic.
The office of homeland security was put in place by the Bush administration after 911. The military doesn't patrol the US for counter terrorism. That is the job of homeland sec. To protect us against terrorism inside the home land. This is to easy. More education sign up for the Bleeding Blue and Dumbs class. Education for the misinformed 101. These things are not scare tactics...these things are FACTUALLY happening. Maybe your too stupid to find these things the least bit concerning. Either provide some VALID reasons for these things or shut the hell up.
$16 Trillion in debt, facing a "Fiscal Cliff", and even Ovomit himself has given you DIRE warnings over the sequester. Glad to know that everything's under control!

Your fact-laden comment, while valid and truthful, will not register one iota with the brain dead Obama Drones for they are impervious to logic and reality, BC as you and I well know already. It's these spineless chickensh!ts with their heads stuck in the sand that will have the rudest of awakenings thrust upon them in due time. All the facts are visible and verifiable but there's an atmosphere of denial most Americans reside within. Perhaps it's a coping mechanism for as with most things, many people embrace a philosophy that if they do not believe (in) something then is does not/CANNOT exist, as if the world revolves around them and them only. We are the watchmen warning and warning and warning for people to look at things with an open, non-politically biased mind and see the writing om the wall. For example, why would there be such a push in the U.S. right now to greatly reduce (in not outright remove) a citizen's means of defending themselves (that the Founding Fathers had the foresight and good sense to know that ANY Government is capable of turning on it's own) while at the same time they (Gov't.) is stockpiling ungodly amounts of weapons, armaments, ammo, drones, etc. 2 + 2 will ALWAYS equal 4 and people can keep denying and rejecting the facts all they want but in doing so they are complicit in aiding the very things that will eventually endanger ALL our lives and loved ones, family, friends, etc. Even the little boy that cried wolf was eventually right and we all know how THAT story turned out.

Why would universal background checks stop me from defending myself. There is no one trying to outlaw guns. I am also smart enough to know that if the government is out to get me they don't need to disarm me. My little .223 AR15 wont stop a tank or an F15. If the government turned the military loose on the people of this country right here to day we would all be dead or in submission. Our fighting men and women are all well trained. You could not put 100 pounds on your back and walk let alone go for miles as they do. You cant even stick your head up my ass and fight for air.

Had the innocent Jews in Germany known what was coming...I'm sure they would've fired their guns before they were peacefully lead off to concentration camps to die. Would it have prevented anything? Who knows...but there is a saying, "I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees."

I have no problem with background checks or stringent means to obtain a gun..it should not be easy to acquire a gun period and if you're a law abiding citizen then you should have no worries in supporting these things. You're apparently a defeatist that's comfortable making excuses trying to justify some reason to not resist Government tyranny should it happen. For one thing, if the Military were "turned loose" on the American people there would be mass defections and conscientious objectors within their ranks. Besides, the point isn't how many weapons they have, how many troops they have, whatever..the point is some of us are NOT going to bow down and submit to imposed slavery, injustice, etc. no matter how many damn guns they have..I'll fight'em with a f_cking BB gun until I'm put down.

I agree, SS, about needing background checks before gun sells, but how can we keep that from leading to a government data base on us? That national data base would be about the same as owner/gun registration.

I don't know the answer, but I do know that registration is the first step toward confiscation.

All this and more attacks on our rights under the Constitution are being brought forth by a man who was suspected of being ant-American from day 1 of his media debut.

Nobama is the "FIRST" in many categories, including: First black president; first president not born in America; first president to interfere in selected events while showing extreme favoritism toward one race. ie..The Treyvon martin issue while totally ignoring many other incidents in which the races were reversed; The first president to spend more money than EVERY preceding president combined; The first president to openly and publicly award himself the RIGHT to murder Americans, on American soil, by launching missiles at them from military aircraft or any other method. The list is extensive and scary.

Being the first in so many categories, I do expect him to be the first to limit or totally deny Americans their second amendment rights and first amendment rights as guaranteed by the U.S Constitution but not approved by HIM personally.

I agree and I don't know what a clear cut solution may be but I am already convinced there's data bases that more than likely contain every particle of information that exists as it relates to each individual. Once the Utah Data Center is up and running at it's intended capacity there
will be longer be any such thing as Privacy.

Let's see....I recall the Olympic bombing in Atlanta, Oklahoma bombing, an attempt on the World Trade Center, The Malvo sniper shootings, and then 9/11. So, in 20 + years we've had 4-5 terrorist events. So, you're telling me that this constitutes 2,700 armored vehicles and over a BILLION rounds of ammo??

You two dimwits couldn't teach "Azzwiping for Beginners".
