Ok, I have been busy. But I have finally been able to come up with a logical explanation for you.
A petition to impeach President Obama for repeatedly violating the Constitution has surpassed the required number of signatures to mandate an official White House response.
The petition, which is posted on the ‘We The People’ section of whitehouse.gov , lists four different examples of how Obama has acted unconstitutionally. I seen a report that stated the petition had 50,000 signatures before being stopped by the White House.
1. The primary reason is Obama’s failure to obtain congressional authorization for the war on Libya last year. Under Article 1 Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution, the power to declare war lies with Congress.
In June last year, President Obama arrogantly expressed his hostility to the rule of law when he dismissed the need to get congressional authorization to commit the United States to a military intervention in Libya, churlishly dismissing criticism and remarking,“I don’t even have to get to the Constitutional question.”
In July 2011, Congress specifically rejected the Obama administration’s attempt to seek approval for war on Libya but the White House later supported a NATO-led assault anyway, terming it a “kinetic” action.
Obama tried to legitimize his failure to obtain Congressional approval for military involvement by sending a letter to Speaker of the House John Boehner in which he said the military assault was “authorized by the United Nations (U.N.) Security Council.”
In March, Congressman Walter Jones introduced a House Resolution which expressed,“The sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.”
2. The other reasons listed on the petition to impeach Obama include appointing so-called czars without Senate approval. When Obama signed a 2011 budget package into law which removed funding for Obama’s advisers on climate change, the auto industry, health care and urban affairs, Obama attached a signing statement indicating he would ignore this provision, prompting Rep. Steve Scalise to accuse the President of acting like a “dictator” in choosing which laws to follow and which to ignore.
3.The petition also notes that,“Forcing US citizens to get health insurance whether they want it or not,” under Obamacare is unconstitutional.
4.During a recent appearance on Hannity, Republican Congressman Peter King also suggested that Obama should be impeached over the Benghazi cover up.
5. Many people are wanting to impeach Obama under his expected gun control laws that would violate our 2nd amendment rights.
6. Dealing with Iran. Any attack against Iran, a country of only 70,000 people. Unless the U.S is directly attacked or there is proof of an attack against the U.S. The president has no constitutional authority to take this country to another war. Even Joe Biden said that he would make a move to impeach Obama if this were to happen.
7. An American military attack on Syria could effectively lead to the impeachment of President Barack Obama. Congressmen say that any war without congressional authorization would be “unconstitutional”.
Republican Representative Walter B. Jones Jr. has come up with the resolution demanding Obama’s impeachment in case his administration starts another military action without the approval of Congress. This came as a reaction to the American Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announcing that in order to carry out the offensive, the US military needs permission from the UN and NATO alone.
Jones’s resolution states that the prime authority to rule on the attack is the US Congress, but not international bodies be it NATO or UN.

I signed that very petition on we the people. I am outraged at the way he has stomped all over our constition. I have thought from the start that he would be the fall of our once great nation. I dont think or say it because of his race. I believe it because of the tactics he has used.

LOL, what a dickhead. Why didnt you move to impeach GWB then?

He lied so severely, killed many innocent people (Iraq for eg) and was a key driver in screwing up your country's (and the worlds) economy.

But no... you were quiet then. Sat back and watched more than a trillion tax dollars get wasted on Iraq (and now complain Obama wastes money on Americans - nice and patriotic).

Just another political 'act' by another sore loser republican moron.

So its ok for Bush to waste money is it, but not Obama? Let alone the fact that the money Bush wasted did nobody any good (actually just killed people), while Obama's 'waste' on the American people is worse??
LOL

Agreed, waste is no good. But be consistent, not just make a big fuss when the 'opposition' is in power.

As usual, the uneducated redneck cant figure it out.

I left out the word "or" in a post. I thought most people would get that but I guess not. Simple typo.

George bush came into office in January 20th of 2001. I was 21 years old then and didn't have a clue about politics. And for the most part didn't really care about politics then. Didn't really care about politics when I was 25 or even 26. But as I get older I start to think about things different. I'm not sore about anything. It's just what should be a simple political discussion.

Actually, I am not for seceding from the union. I don't think people truly understand what that really means for them. In short. If a state secedes from the union. The union being the federal government. Many people do not understand that many federal funded or federal managed services and programs will no longer be available to them. This effects you in many ways. I don't think many people fully understand how their life will change and how they will lose much needed services, if they actually secede.

You're a Civics Professor, aren't you? You've given yourself away with your stunning insight of the impeachment process. Most people don't know that a democratically elected President can be unseated by petition.

Um, I'm not a Republican, or a racist, and I don't plan to sign any petitions. There's this thing called sarcasm. It's a form of humor. Look into it.

We barely made 8 years of Bush! They seem to forget what a disaster that 8 years left us with.
