Scores are being released to the media tomorrow. Can't wait to hear the spin they put on this one. Numbers don't lie. Glad to see them released before the election. There's got to be some things changed in this district. We owe our kids nothing less than the best and this group just isn't getting it-

You mean the ones with new principals will have good scores or they will be the ones with bad scores?

I think the next Super should be the principle with the highest test scores overall K-8. These board members want education to the max for the kids, then put the best, hardest working, highest test scored overall, principal in the super seat. Then I would honestly believe its about the kids. No matter who the principle is that comes out on top. I'm curious to see who it will be....lol.

Down South, the people in each county ELECT THEIR SCHOOL SUPT. and when he or she performs like Mr. Wagner, they kick them to the curb. Unlike here, where bought and paid for Board Members with their own interests in mind say, "Mr. Wagner has done an excellent job!" Boy, would electing Supers change things around here.

That is the problem, if you find someone that is doing their job leave them in that position. Murphy's Law, you raise to your highest level of incompetence and stay there! 100 day wonders may have been proficient in their jobs, that don't mean they are subject matter experts in their political appointment.

Everyone is welcome to their own comments, which is all about Freedom of Speech. It would be nice and helpful though if more of us checked the facts insteasd of depending on so many viscious rumors.
I notice that Frank Ratliff and his Sugar Baby keeps mentioning the school taxes. Please check out the recent Board Minutes, I am thinking it was either the August or September meeting this year that Frank Ratliff voted No on NOT raising the school taxes!!!! Please check it out. He was the only member to vote against NOT raising them. Also much earlier when it was needed to raise them only slightly to be able to build the new school at Millard which by the way, there are workers on that property everyday bringing this to pass)Frank voted NO on this, voting against this school being built in his own district, then had the audacity to accuse this administration on stalling on the Millard project!! This is one strange and deranged man. He refuses to cooperate on ANYTHING , even if it is a good move even for him. It is hard to get anything done when you have a sour puss with the right to vote on such important issues that affect all our children.

All the complainers about the 100 day wonders, do you have any idea what you are talking about? These positions actually save the board money. If you replaced these workers, the board would have to pay their salary's, insurance, and their retirement. By using the 100 day people, they only have to pay salary.

As for teachers being laid off, check your facts people!!! in the past 2 years the central office has lost 6 employees, including 3 supervisors that have not been replaced, in order for the budget cuts not to effect our teachers. Not one teacher has been laid off due to the poor economy and lack of funding. The central office is the place of all the cuts and other employees are taking on their extra duties.
I dont care who the Super or the board members are, most people would only look for the untruths and negatives and refuse to even consider the positive.

They go in every year and raise the school tax, one year a couple years ago twice. The vote is always the same, a unamimous 5 vote yes, until Frank voted no. There were no Millard or specific funding vote for years just a vote to raise the school tax, EVERY YEAR for the last 5 or 6 years.
Yes that NO vote got Frank out of favor, dared to vote no against the machine and the yes men, they threw him under the bus. Fact is the powers that be have been actively seeking since that vote someone to run against Frank in order to get him out.
If that is not a pure political move I don't know what is, after all with 4 voting yes the fact is the motion to raise the tax carried. Where is the school and how did 1 vote stop the school when the majority of the board members voted yes.
You are loose with your facts and living proof the PCBOE is a messed up political machine that don't worry abiut nothing but politics. Why the hell would you spend so much time and energy trying to get a man when you had 4 members that still vote yes on your taxes and everything else...

FACT 1 no vote on a board of 5 don't stop a tax, the tax passed, the school has still not been started and the no vote on taxes by Frank never slowed it down a bit...how could it if the tax passed. We all know why the school in Franks district is held hostage!

Your talking about test scores being the lowest in the state. Look around most people here believe MTR is good for the environment. You can't fix stupid. You buy your children books send them to school and they chew the damn covers off of them. Come on folks the only way to fix what is wrong with the education system if for the parents to back the teachers 100%. Now if a kid does something wrong in school.. My baby would never do that I want him moved to another room... My baby is never wrong... I have news for you. Your baby is wrong and your baby is a spoiled brat that needs some discipline at home. 5 year olds do not need an iPad/iPod or every video games system on the planet. If your have bought you kid a pair of beats by Dr. Dre your a dumbass.

To everyone maybe ,just maybe we all need to fall down on our knees asking the good man to take care of this. Remember the song Farther Along we will know all about it, we will understand why some people seem to get away with bad things in its own time we will understand why. Do we1 have to answer for someone elses wrong doing NO WAy. Maybe we need to set a time for prayer it just might help when nothing else will.
