You can have it set up on payments..just give them a call..they slap you with big interest charges..I checked with a Lawyer and they can get by with this...we had several with Tax ease...Still paying on them!!!Good Luck...When you call them ...tell them you are calling to have it set up on a payment you can afford...

its tax ease lien assesments...i work for an atty and we deal with them daily...its any property that taxes havent been paid on, if you live there or not. if you do not pay your taxes for a year, the county will hold it for 6 months and then it can be bought, usually by tax ease lien. u get big interest and penalties and they can force the sale of the property at auction. my advise, CALL AN ATTY TODAY!!!!

don't waste your money on an attorney..we did that and there is nothing you can do..just ask them to set it up on payments you can afford!!!

I tried asking them for payments. Demanded payment in full and would not budge. Just another way our trusty politicians have gave us the shaft. Now the commonwealth has started buying them and knocking Tax Ease out. Thank you Kentucky. Why can't Pike County, let the ones that can't afford to pay all at once, make payments? I would be happy to pay in advance on a monthly basis.

Just keep calling them and tell them there is no way you can pay it that way and ask to speak to their supervisor..

They won't even talk now. Turned it over to a lawyer in Lexington to collect. The lawyer won't even answer the phone. Goes direct to voicemail and says they will return call within 24 hrs. Have left 3 messages in the last 4 days. No return call.

They will call you back..just be prepared for what you are going to say to them before they call...tell them you are on a budget and that is all you can afford to pay..whatever amount you can afford..
