was ok, i tried the cappacino and then i tried a small bite of cake batter
if you only get the yogurt, its around 3 bucks for a small serving, but what gets you is the toppings
they charge 53 cents per ounce
a small cup holds about 4 to 5 oz....so around 3 bucks
but you add chocolate chips and cookies and all that junk, your price shoots up a coupla bucks and 140 calories becomes 500
eat all you want baby..your figure is perfect!

well i went and we got 3 small cups of yogurt and is was 18.61 and we wil never go back i could have bought 3 gallon of ice cream or yogurt at that price and it been just as good. It is alot more than .53 an ounce if it was 18.61 for 3 4 ounce cups...
the toppings are incldued in the price they weight it and chage you by the ounces i guess who knows

people they charge what the company tells them to. I admit it is high. But it is the same price at all sweet frogs so Pikeville is not raising the price.

i got a small bowl and filled it nearly to the top and had zero toppings, and it was 2.26 cents....yes, they weight it and once you add all those toppings, you know its going to weigh much more....no toppings for me thanks...and you are right, you could have bought several quarts of ice cream or frozen yogurt for what you paid

I could buy a steak at food city cheaper than at Texas roadhouse !,,but is that the point ?... A cup with a good amount of ice cream and topings is about 4 or 5 $ which is about normal if u got to any place like that and get one.. This isn't 1965 u can't go to a ice cream shop and get a ice cream for 59cents .
my opinion

just a quick note, not trying to be a smart ass, but technically its frozen yogurt
so it might even weigh a little more than ice cream...not sure but i suspect it does
when you eat it, it isnt creamy like ice cream its more like a frosty, thicker and heavier

Hun, nobody does anything in Pikeville without getting the approval. That town is so intertwined in politics and corporate snuff, my god you have to have a permit to poison people at hillbilly days with the garbage the vendors peddle. Its like trying to make it big in the music/entertainment/show business. If the higher ups dont give you the nod, then you go nowhere. If you have ever watched american idol, you know what i mean.
Now I agree pikeville could benefit from some new places. However, I think there should be a public poll for people to vote for what they want, BUT NOT ON TOPIX. Let the public decide what new shops get the nod. I would like to see a rally's on the south end of pikeville at food city for starters. I really dont like driving all the way to coal run to get a burger and dodging all the coal trucks and other traffic. My vote is for south side of pikeville.

here we go again
second verse, same as the first
someone poisoned someone in some hidden underground conspiracy in pikeville at hillbilly days
they watched this person with a high powered telescopic lens from atop bob amos observatory
and with a system of secret service communication devices, they were able to inform the vendors when this person approached their booth
the vendor was then able to get out the poison that had been created in an underground bunker lab and put it in said persons food
and the cops all stood around and laughed
and a great time was had by all....well except for the victim, as he/she was busy shitting all night and vomiting and of course the spies swooped in to confiscate the evidence.....guess the victim should have kept his poop sample and taken it to the lab to be anal lyzed

No, this isn't 1965, but Pikeville isn't the Smokies, either. People will pay the price for a steak and a meal at a restaurant because they are hungry and need to eat when they are out shopping, doing business, etc. whereas an overpriced treat is just exactly that--an overpriced treat. I'm not very likely to pay a high price for something I can just go home and take out of my freezer for a fraction of the cost. If I'm absolutely dying for an ice cream and cannot wait till I get home, I'll zip by one of the places where it's half that price. Time will tell if the new place gets enough customers to stay in business.

it is ok once in awhile, i would rather splurge a little on a sweet treat, say 5 bucks for a big cup of plain yogurt or go to dairy cheer for a shake than to pay 50 bucks, my cable bill or my car insurance payment to eat a steak, i can go to food city or wally world and get a steak, potato, all the trimmings and stuff for a much better salad and ice and a 6 pack of cold beer for around half that...and enjoy it at home and not have to worry about tipping, well only myself :))

I agree. It's just that sometimes people are in situations where it's either pay for a meal or go hungry when they have to be away from home for a while. I hardly ever eat away from home, but sometimes it's necessary. I'll pay for an occasional meal away from home, but I'll usually have ice cream or dessert at home because that's something I can take or leave. But, once in a while is okay.

$15 for 3 yogurts once every six months wont hurt anybody. Its obvious people dont like it much, look in the parking lots around Sweet Frog. There are melting cups of half eaten yogurt all over.
