Well put. I have, and still do, carry a gun every place that is legal. A few places say "no concealed weapons allowed". I get a laugh out of that one. The key word is "CONCEALED".

I'm a part time bouncer and am known to be packin so there is very little trouble to break up.

Long ago I got into many bar fights and alley kickins, because some punk said something I didn't like.

The very first time I was packin and realized I was the absolute winner if it came down to that, I had a totally different outlook and stopped being so over reactive.

If obama gets re-elected he plans to put severe restrictions on guns and MOST DEFINITELY, AMMUNITION.

I see POPO driving like maniacs and find them just going to the office or someplace to eat. They're not legally allowed to break the speed limit unless on a call and then they are supposed to alert other drivers of the danger they are causing by using lights and siren.

I always wanted to get one on video showing speed and a newspaper to confirm the date.

I do accept now that if I was a cop, I would just HAVE to put my foot down to the floor too. That don't make them right, but maybe human like the rest of us. Their cars are sick too, so it can't be as much fun as we think.

Why do so many people talk trash about cops.. then call them when in need?

Cars are sick huh? Maybe you don't get out much, but I can assure you not all drive Crown Vics, and even one KSP in this area driving a new Chevy that is bad. I saw it crack loose below town not long ago. Didn't spin a tire and was gone. They are changing to the Chevy Caprice, 6.0 liter with 355 horsepower. A big increase over the 250 HP Crown Vic. I've seen POPO Z28's, Mustangs, and Corvettes. They are utilized on Interstates where they come up from behind you flat out F'n hauling arse, and you don't notice until it is too late. So back to the sick. Get out and pick a race with the weaker Crown Vic in whatever vehicle you choose. I'll wager that you end up in the back of the Cruiser.

The reason they got Chevrolet now is because Ford don't make a crown Vic anymore.

Isn't that dangerous to allow aircraft on such a heavily traveled road? Where's the runway they use?

i also see them everyday go by on 460,even if they are in an emergency i still dont think they should drive as fast as they do on this highway, if a child or animal ran out in the road, there is no way they could control their cars. They are really endangering everyones lives including their own. I cant tell you the number of times i have seen them just about run over people in front of them, cause they are going so fast and wont give them time to get out of their way. I have also noticed the coroners vehicle flying to fast also, what is his emergency. Once he is called, he cant save them. You know I have noticed this for a long long time, and the Ambulances dont drive that way, and Im sure they are in a bigger hurry and emergencies. But back to the question, no one ever hears or knows anything, there is never nothing much in the paper, so it does make you wonder.

Letting your child run out on a four lane highway probably isn't the best idea Personally, I don't think troopers trained to handle their vehicles are the problem. F'n idiots driving ten mph below the posted speed limit are a much bigger problem. Hogging the left lane because they have to make a turn ten miles down the road. These idiots are what causes accidents. People have to take chances to get around these f'n retards. I can understand you have no where to be, and basically just out getting in the way of people who have places they need to go. I drop my child of at East Ridge a couple times per week, and the drive back towards P'ville is terrible because of people driving 30 mph, rubber necking everything they pass, like they are just out to look around. People end up having to take chances to just get around them. I believe it is more dangerous to drive ten to twenty miles per hour under the speed limit then it is to drive twenty over, and to tell the truth, I hate these MF'ers with every thing in me. I find myself wishing i had some kind of big gun strapped to the hood so I could literally blow them off the road. It would be so nice to go by and watch them burning in a giant fireball. If the best you can do is keep a whole line of traffic behind you hating your guts then please give up your license. don't make everybody suffer because you don't have the decency to at least pull over and let people go on by. I realize some people just simply can't drive for crap, but at the same time know good and well they could pull their slow arse over and let others pass. I usually get so mad i end up passing in places that aren't safe. I have made it a point that if by chance it looks as though I might get in an accident, I am taking them with me. I will get just far enough ahead and put them in the ditch, then keep right on going. If they won't show an ounce of decency why should I? I also like to get beside them on the four lane and ease over right on top of them. It's funnier then hades to watch them run off the side of the road trying to get away.

I too despise the "fast lane slow pokes" and would gladly blow their effing windows out, were it not for the legal ramifications. But even I have my limits of endurance....

Please get to some anger management classes ASAP! Your talk about your big gun, watching people burn in a fireball, putting people in the ditch and passing when it's not safe tells me you need to leave a bit earlier so everyone can reach their destination safely. it makes me sad to know people like really do exist! What if your child made the mistake of causing road rage in an idiot like yourself and was sent into a firey crash? Speed limit means just that. You must know the definition of limit to understand. Driving under is allowed by law, driving over is not.

I always drive the speed limit in the City of Pikeville and when the City Police get behind me they always ride my bumper. Often I am afraid they are going to bump me or try to push me off the road. They constantaly break the law by sgoing thru stop signs with rolling stops, speeding all over the place among other things. One day they are going to hurt someone by their actions. They need to obey the traffic laws just like anyone else.

Come on Tan. Does the little wimp have to carry a gun to make him feel big. I bet you are probably one of those that can't develop friendships so you play with your guns. So indicative of your postings you must be a lonly human. Playing with guns and always on the computer cause you are not accepted.

You've brought up one of my pet peaves about POPO. Those who tailgate us. Pikeville City Police are not real peace officers in my opinion anyway. They are umprofessional and can never be forgiven for turning their heads and allowing their boss, little frankie, to get off scott free. Blatant cronyism is their accepted way of dealing with incidents. It's been that way for so long it could only be changed by replacing the mayor and the chief.
