Been watching Huntigton SSA employees and former employees of Eric Conn testify on television before US Senate. Wow! What a story they have told about alleged FRAUD. Mr. Conn and Judge Daugherty sat and watcher the several hour show. Finally, the Senators called them to testify but THE JUDGE WAS GONE! VAMOOSED! HIT THE ROAD JACK, but not Mr. Conn. He came to the table, took an oath to tell the truth and them told them that HE WAS NOT GOING TO TESTIFY BUT WAS GOING TO TAKE HIS 5th AMENDMENT RIGHTS TO REMAIN SILENT!

What a shame that it takes 60 Minutes to show up before this fraud is exposed.

I know it don't work that way but the millions he has made wrongful "AGAINST THE LAW" and what he has cost the people who have worked all there life paying in taxes, He should have "NO RIGHTS". I think people like him should have everything they have taken because it came from fraud, and put his A?? in PRISON. Just my thought.

What about the LEGIT ones?????
I don't know how SSA will look at these people that are legit. But, ECC needs to pay out the ass and his clients sue him and the Judge.
If you are on SSI and had ECC from 2006 to 2011 ... i would worry.

I will not discredit this attorney, but when the system changed to where you have to hire an attorney to get benefits. this is when the problem began. Why do these agencies make it so difficult for the average person to apply and provide their medical histories. I don't think this attorney will be running from anything. he will have representation like any of us would. This problem is a nationwide disgrace and will not changed until safe guards are in place to prevent people who aren't disabled in getting benefits that others are in need of.

You forgot to add that since Obama's extension of the unemployment payments to almost 2 years has been running out, those people are filing for disability in droves. Gov't benefits are expanding at a furious rate to placate the masses in order to keep them voting for an incompetent liberal led gov't. Just look at the increase in Food Stamps and the liberals advertisement of how great they are and how to sign right up,look at the awards being given to gov't workers to help poor misguided Appalachians get over their "mountain pride" and aversion to taking food stamps or gov't "help".

BINGO! That is the ones that will be cut off. When you get hunting and fishing license, they keep and turn in your Social Security number. SSA WILL be looking into this I'm sure.
Dr Apt's every month also. Not every other month, etc...
If you say you can't work because of a bad back, knee, Etc.. and hunt, fish, have a ATV .... you're in trouble. Maybe if you have a facebook account. Some ALJ ask if you have access to the internet. It CAN hurt you. Having a pet can hurt you. If you are able to feed and care for it, you aren't disabled. That came out of the mouth of a ALJ to a friend of mine. She had both breast removed due to cancer and had chronic pain, and was denied by two ALJ's.

What about the ones an a legitimate crazy check, all getting taken off their meds at the same time. Hospital ER will be swamped and the Psych Wards will be running over. Revolving door mental health clinic since they will lose their Medicaid card no one will keep them and they will be all turned back on the street with no help. We will all have to pay for this one, it will just push it back to the state and local level. Even if you have to keep them in jail it is going to cost somebody and it will be more than the $1100 a month they are getting from the Federal Government.

Nothing about the system has changed to make it more complicated. Attorneys who were not qualified to practice any other kind of law started running advertisements and commercials to convince people that the process was so hopeless and complicated that you had to hire them in order to win. Where do you think the myth that everyone gets denied the first two times they apply comes from? Attorneys. It's all part of their marketing.

Here's how simple the disability application process is: Log on to SSA's website or go into SSA's offices, complete the application with a claims representative, provide the names and, if possible, phone numbers for your doctors, then complete the forms that the SSA medical examiners send to you. If necessary, go to SSA exams. If you qualify for disability, you will get it.

You don't have to request your own medical records, you don't have to argue your case to a doctor, or any of that. The sad fact is that disability attorneys do very little, then take 25% or $6000 of your back pay for working for, maybe, a couple of hours during the entire time they have your case. SSA does all of the leg-work. Attorneys can submit medical records, but usually they just submit duplicates of what SSA has already obtained and paid for.

An attorney can help argue your case in front of an ALJ if you're intimidated, but that's about it.

AND, you think the Doctors the SSA send you to give you a good review for disability? LMFAO. That's what they're there for ... TO SAY YOU ARE NOT DISABLED!!! They are usually Dr's that came out at the bottom of their class and can't get nothing else in the medical field.
As i said in another post .. who cares? In two years it's all gone anyway.
You have no clue what you're talking about and are just spouting nonsense, rumor, and speculation.

I worked for DDS/SSA for 22 years. I do know what I'm talking about.

I'll leave it at that.
