Does anyone know the NAME of a suboxone clinic? I know that you can't post a phone number, but if someone knows the name I can look it up in the phone book? Any help is greatly APPRECIATED! Thank you!

You can go to www.addictionsurvivors.org and see a list of some of the physicians in this area. You can post your information there (anonymously) and a physician will contact you if they have an opening. Offhand I know that there are quite a few here Dr. Ronnie Parker, Dr. Fannin, Dr. Bill Webb, and there is a clinic up in the shopping center by MagicMart. It is called SelfRefind.

Good luck to you or whoever you are seeking to help. God bless you too.

Meta Medical Center - Dr. Ronnie Parker. He's a great Dr. I've been going there since December. I'm on 3 Suboxone per day. 8mg. each. It costs $330 for the first visit...then you go the next week, and it costs $100...then you go two weeks after that...it costs $100...then you go every month and it costs you $100 per visit. Try it out! If you need specific information feel free to email me and let me know! I'll give you all of the necessary information that you want!!! [email protected]

Hope it helps!

Thank you so much for your info. I called Dr. Parker and there are no openings at this time. I can't find SelfRefind in the phone book, but I will call information and check it out. It is so hard to find a Dr. because they all have clinic names. I won't give up. I will find help. Thank you sooooo much!

There's one in Prestonsburg and one in Paintsville. The treatment is expensive but well worth it. You could probably do a google search and find the names of doctors certified to administer the program. You might also call Mountain Comp or UNITE to find the information you need. Best wishes to you. Be strong.
its cheaper

actually its cheaper now, I go there and they only charged me $250 1st visit,$100 after 1 week, than $100 for 2weeks than $100mth. So basically its $450 firs mth than $100mth after that..it may be because I was already in treatment and didnt need induction but now they dont start everyone out on 3 a day....that is what i was previously on at my other suboxone clinic...a friend of mine went and he was new so he only started out on 2 1/2 per day...it varies...

Pikeville treatment center. It's high the first cpl months but u get 4 a day and it's 275$ a month after u get on stable dose. If u dnt have INS the pills are 7$ a piece at the pharmacy.

They shouldn't automatically give everyone four a day unless they are just trying to keep you on it for a long time. This medication is interesting in that sometimes you will actually feel better when you take less. You only need to take enough to stop withdrawals and keep the cravings away.

They dnt just start u out on that many. That's the max they will write. Most places it only 3. If u dnt have INS though it's as costly as bein on dope. They know ppl need them so they charge a outrageous price for them.

u are so right...I may be wrong, but I dont feel that the worst oxy head around no matter how much you were used to doing doesnt need 4 a day...I really used alot of mg per day of oxy before switching to suboxone...I do just fine with 2 per day which is really what my physician said is the "stablizing dose"...
