LOL! I already knew that, AW!! And thank you, a certain someone has been giving me what he thinks is a hard way to go. Little does he realize the utter fool he's continuing to make of himself. As I see just now that it's continuing.
I figure that since everyone has a mental image of each other, I'd clear mine up. That's why I said if anyone else had any questions, that I'd be happy to answer them as long as my privacy didn't get invaded, hehe!! Not even the Watch Tower people knock on my door around here.
I'm WAY past the point of adjusting to someone else being under my roof. And I can only assume due to your happy posts, you are as well. I'm not interested in tipping the scales at this age. It's too nice to finally be able to do as I wish, when I wish. Things are quite comfortable right now and I've always been a pretty comfortable loner, even while IN a relationship. If that makes any sense??
I've wanted a fishing boat. Even thought about trading the Harley in on one at a certain point. But I don't know squat about boat motors. I'd get out there, possibly break down, and be afloat for a month before anyone realized I was MIA..
A little boat may be nice if you like lake fishing, but those big, fancy boats are money pits... Boating is even more expensive than "horsing around" which is more my speed.

Yes, and most of those aged performers are selling products geared toward the older folks on channels such as TV Land that we older folks tend to watch. Pat Boone is even selling walk-in bath tubs. Targeted Marketing at it's best.(or worst).

A boat is a hole in the water that you pour money into.

Hi WKG! If you want a new firearm, my advise is to not wait for ANYTHING to settle down. This "crisis" is not going to go away like a bad fart under tight bed sheets.
If you want one, go get it and go get it now. Personally, I'd recommend a revolver because it doesn't look like there will be an issue involved with owning those any time in the near future.
(Of course I"m only assuming that as of right now though... Who knows what the months or years ahead might bring as far as our rights to bear arms for personal use)..
Hey there Nope. I'm glad you like that new gun. Sounds like a nice collection. I was going to buy a s&w 40 the other day and somebody beat me to it. Oh I wasn't talking about this ordeal with gun regulation being a crisis. It is a small family crisis that might cost me a little money. As soon as I get that ironed out I'll be shopping for another gun. I know of one I want but I'm afraid it will be long gone before I can get to it. They are going fast around here!
I sure am glad that we don't live somewhere like New York! I can't get over the new gun "laws" that their governor signed in the other day. This "grandfathering in" certain types of guns is a TOTAL TRICK if you ask me! Getting everybody to admit to what all they have is the first step. Then there will be another crisis come along then they are going to come knocking on our doors for what we admitted to having! I have got a bad feeling about all of this.

You would think that someone reasonably intelligent would know that California has a very diverse populace and mockery of other cultures and peoples might well get deleted as well as your response about it.

An 18 foot bass boat with a 150 or 200 hp outboard will run in excess of 20 grand or better and then you need a matching SUV or truck to tow it and you know what that costs. It is all about what one prefers to do. I can't afford that or a Harley to only ride when the weather is nice.

@Sybil and anyone interested in vaccines and their modifications. Look up FUNVACS, which stands for Vaccine for religious fundamentalism, and how it can be used as a war weapon in the Middle East.(If they can use it there, what is to stop it being used here).
Another interesting thing that you may like is a video featuring Dr. Maurice Hilleman. Apparently, when the Salk vaccine was introduced in the 1950's, they were still using live virus to conquer polio. They discovered new viruses which were initially undetectable, but proceeded anyway. These viruses, possibly including a variation of the AIDS virus, may not have been inactivated and turned up in some of the seed stock (refers to the initial vaccine from which more vaccine was manufactured).

Another video that you might find interesting is the leaked Pentagon meetings related to vaccines. There was evidence that, when testing on rats, the test subjects developed cancer, but again that was ignored.

I'm not going into detail regarding these issues because those folks interested will research this information, and others may just scroll by.

Hi Oglala.:) The commercial "star"that gets to me is Robert Wagner. Every time I look at him I think about him getting by with killing Natalie Wood. He did that and can still look everybody in the face like he didn't do a thing. I see they are wanting to question him about it again and he doesn't want to talk. They will get him one day.

WKG, I hope things work out for you and you get to purchase that new toy. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!

AW, I laughed at the hole in the water comment. But my Harley has surely been known to break the bank quite a few times too. Right now she needs new tires. I'll be lucky to get many more miles out of what's on her now.

Unspoken, you have a great weekend too!

Lala, Hope to chat with you tomorrow as well.

AB, where ever you are, have a good night and the same.

Hemp, due to me burning my dinner to a crisp, I didn't get around to looking up your new purchase. I'll do that tomorrow. It sounds awesome and I'm interested to learn more about it.

Anyway, now I'm too tired to function. It was a good day both inside and out. In essence I ended up cooking two dinners, ROFLMBO!! And what I eventually ended up eating was WAY too heavy. My eyelids are drooping.

So everyone take care. And if I missed anyone, please forgive. I'll catch up tomorrow. I'm headed to bed.

The featherheads, the green and blue winged wonder bird, plus all the other four leggers,(both canine and feline), seem to have beat me to it already....
<<yawn>>

Goodnight!!

FUNVACS : Is it a hoax or does it have merit. Sybil, why don't you do the research and let us know what you think? I'm not certain myself, but it is plausible. I just want to clarify that I am not sure about the validity of the studies that I read, but it is a very interesting concept, especially now that scientists are looking for the "God gene."

The incident involving Natalie Wood's death is suspicious. As I remember reading about it, witnesses stated that she was very drunk. That alone could have impaired her judgement, reflexes, etc. On the other hand, the couple was in an intense argument prior to her falling overboard. I did hear about officials doing a cold case investigation.
