Best & Worst Carpenters

I was thinking about getting some work done after the forth and was trying to find out who would do the best job for the money and who to stay away from here in Piggott?

Beaware of Mark Quinn from Marmaduke. He operates under the name of Q construction and O construction. My husband paid him upfront and he never did the work. I checked around and he has done this to several people.

Beware Mike Slaughter. His work is decent, but don't pay him until he is completely finished or you may never see him again. Also estimates way under what his final cost is. I know at least two people here in town (Piggott) who has had issues. If you make him guarentee his estimate and not pay until he is finished, I think he may be ok.

"We've Only Just Begun" to scratch the surface of this carpenter situation. Most of them do a great job, but some you want to give a "Ticket to Ride".
Some make you feel on "Top of the World" when you see the great job they've done. Sometimes you just want to "Hideaway" and cry. Some seem to not like to work on "Rainy Days & Mondays". I've written a letter of complaint on one and said "Please Mr. Postman" will you deliver this irate bit*hing letter for me. He of course said "It's Going to Take Some Time". I guess we just wound up "Hurting Each Other" that carpenter and I. All and all I guess he was too "Close to You" main reason I let the SOB go.

Travis Rodery is by far the best and quickest and most reasonable. He takes pride in his work. He's a major perfectionist. There is none better. Helped me remodel two houses and if there is something your trying to visualize for your home and just don't know what to do or how to do it, he will have the answer.
