Did the judges from the cattle barn judge the pageants this year? Some of these girls look like they eat out of a bucket.

Jealous cause you or your child didn't win...the only group I didn't agree with was the Mrs. Clay County

<quoted text>That is the one I was mostly referring to. If you haven't seen the picture in the paper, you should. The two ladys on the out side are HOT. The winner isn't bad but the two in the middle (2nd & 3rd) come straight out the cattle barn.
I agree to some extent. I was there watching my friend (who did not place in the pageant.) The two on the end in the paper (3rd alternate- gold dress and 4th alternate- blue dress) were my picks for the winners as soon as they walked out. They looked amazing and by far the prettiest ladies in the pageant. Their walk, grace, dresses, figures, hair, and make-up were spot on. Many of the people setting around me felt the same way. As soon as they were called out as 4th and 3rd place, I went ahead and left. The Mrs. pageant should have the same criteria as the other pageants...the prettiest overall wins. It's only fair!

I didn't go to the mrs clay county pageant, but I went to the mrs labor day pageant in rector. My picks at that pageant were the same two girls who got 3rd and 4th in clay county. They looked amazing. They both did very well in the rector pageant. One won and the other got 2nd. I agree that the mrs pageant needs the same criteria as the other pageants.

Anyone have any idea who was judging the Mrs pageant? Seen the paper and that's sad! If there was only five ladys I could understand them getting 4th and 5th but 2nd & 3rd. That's Sad!

What is sad is that you people are so scared to go out of the "norm" its not funny. Of course its a pageant so the youngest girls that look like a freakin toothe pick should win? You all need to look at the cold hard picture. Just because they are nice and pretty or "spot on" as mentioned doesnt mean a darn thing. You dont know what those girls went through and you getting on here downing them because they had more confidence than half of you do to get up there and show they are proud of themselves is patheic and trashy. The media has set forth what is "Pageant" material or winner material but sadly none of you can look through the fog and see just how pretty some girls can be even though they are not Model Pretty! All the girls in the picture look amazing but you people are such snobs that have to sit here and judge others because "your picks" didnt win. Get over yourselves people! I feel sorry for the generation growing up now because you are trying to teach them that tall skinny and pretty is the only thing exceptable and ITS NOT! Even the prettiest person can be a complete royal b*itch and the ugliest be the sweetest most caring person but you people are too blind to see that! SHAME ON ALL OF YOU! SAD THAT YOU PEOPLE FEEL SO LOW TO MAKE FUN OF OTHERS JUST TO PICK YOURSELVES UP!!!!This isnt high school anymore. Time to move on!!!!!

I think the winners in the younger age divisions were definitely right on point!! I was there during the day and think the judges did an amazing job. I didnt get to see the Miss Clay Co or the Mrs. Pageant. I just hate that the judges have such a hard decision to make and no matter what, some one will get their feelings hurt and run their mouths!!

Okay. I'll be the first to say that I do not agree with all the name calling/bashing of the Mrs. pageant contestants. I think it's great that they have the confidence to do so. However, it is a beauty pageant. A beauty pageant should be based on the score sheet criteria, not their "personality, friendly demeanor, age, etc.". It's crazy that some people think a beauty pageant doesn't need to be about that. Why would it not be? That's like saying my child won the spelling bee, but she got most of the words wrong due to the fact that she's a poor speller. Stop trying to take the competition out of...well...a competition. If you are not the pageant type, don't do the pageant. It's that simple. Compete in what you are good at and perfect your skill. That's what we teach our children, and the same goes for adults. If you do the pageant for fun, have fun! If you do the pageant to win, do your best to win. With that said, I'm hoping that the pageant will one day be an actual competition instead of "just hanging the first few spots to friends, family members, etc". To the ladies who should have done well or placed better, maybe you should try a different pageant that values the score sheet requirements. Good luck to all the lovely ladies, and thank you to the ones that dressed appropriate for your age. I'm glad to see that many wanted to bring classy back.
