Most of them just drive around. When they do hit they just barely tag them. To bad its not like it use to be.

Well, we went last night. Not one of Piggott's best derbies for sure. Crash, it wasn't like it used to be. I couldn't hear what the officials were telling the drivers. From what we could see, everyone ganged up on the pink car. Then the officials went and told all the other cars something (maybe not to be ganging up??) Then in the last heat the red car got pinned and looked like he was going to break his flag a few times, then didn't. Then the officials brought them all back out to the middle. Don't know what that was all about. But anyway, wasn't like it used to be for sure.

I guess its alright to hit people in the drivers door now too.

yea it was ok to hit in the driver door..............NOT but u know it was pretty shitty if u tell me i think they need to have new officals out there from out of town and not these pitty ass people out there from piggottt they dont know what the hell they was doign and also they should of made the one that hit in the drivers door pull his flag but no they didnt do that they was scared to make him do that he was full speed when he done that u know it could of hurt that man really bad but no they didnt care they wanted the nelson and the brown boy to win the derby but i can say this they are good derby drivers but they are some shitty people

i was an offical there and if u guys just sit in the bleachers bitchin try doin it ur self and im not from piggott either but as far as being scared to brake a flag thats not me im not scared of any of them but we try to do the right thing

You must of been drunk and scared because you sure didn't do the right thing as a judge. Judges are volunteers. Don't volunteer next time. If that would of been one of my friends that got hit in the door like that I would have been really pissed. Bottom line his flag should have been broke you know it and so does everyone else.

That hit was UN-INTENTIONAL. He tried to slow up and John never meant to hit him there. Thats why he wins and won the season cause he does the right things. The buddies of the other guys just get pissed and should not be involved or they will go to jail. The judges decision is final. That hit after the lights went out was also unitentional cause he was in forward motion AS the lights went out. Even when the judges make them break thier flags, they still refuse to and still get pissed. If your driving, do what they say to do. Why bitch over a derby.

I haven't ever seen an intentional drivers door hit. But I have seen alot a drivers get disqualified for hitting in the drivers door. Myself included. We know all the last four guys driving where team mates. Most guys would of broke their own flag for hitting someone that hard. Sorry but I don't think he let up because your right he didn't do it on purpose but he did do it. One of the MAIN RULES is no hitting the drivers door. Why have rules. Everybody bitches about something at every derby. Would you liked it if you got hit in the drivers door or so and so on.
