why does piggott hospital have a hard time keeping housekeepers

I hear they have nine people on days and two on nights, the two on nights do as much as the day people do,and have to work every other weekend. days have at least three people off every weekend this seems a little unfair and very poorly managed if you ask me i have been in management for many years somebody needs to give their boss some training on ethics and accountability.

treat people the way you would wont to be treated yourself. Show respect you get respect back, If you are a boss in some way ,this goes to you to ,I use to work in housekeeping at the Piggott Hospitial. All the nurses are nice and all the others.All but in housekeeping just the two over everone.Not good, I wouldnt advise anyone to work there if you work there you know. BE there an work with them help them show them you appershate them especially scince they cant keep no one .For all the bull that is going on feel sorry for some of them that they are treating that way .Im not for sure but I herd there is maybe two on nights that does what all of them on days are .mmm that says a lot dont you think?

Its because of all the bull I herd there was only two on nights doing what all of them on days are doing an they work by themselfs a lot too an take care of the whole hospitial and two other places they have to clean two outside of the hospitial also .herd they hired one for nights but she was sent to do cambell Mo. to clean the home health building there.what would you think ?Who would wont to work there.

Whoever wrote this frist needs to learn how to spell and second learn to tell all the facts. If you are so unhappy working at night in houskeeping why don't you just quit? I mean if your such a great worker you shouldn't have any trouble finding another job.

I dont work there and i never would I just herd that from someone that use to work on days so but out.

It is like that in many housekeeping environments. The main reason is management; I agree with getting someone in there that isn't known, it reduces nepitism (sp) and 'clicks'...not to say that's what's going on there, but if it is that would be a common, high turnover housekeeping job; no matter where it is.

Why would someone that worked days know anything about nights? Plus you put in to much inside information, so you either work there or you are related to someone that is working there. So which one are you?
Poor managment has nothing to do with the reason Piggott Hospital can't keep housekeepers. There isn't much a manager can do when the workers they get want to get a paycheck but don't want to work for it.

First of all I do not work at the hospital, but I do know several people who do and bull i think i know you,second of all thank you, you just proved my point, in this response as i stated in my first posting and third of all it does not take a genus to figure out when there is a problem THESE ARE STRICTLT MY OPINIONS AND ARE NO REFLECTIONS ON THE FEELINGS OF ANY OF THE STAFF SOME TIMES WE NEED PEOPLE ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN TO SEE OUR PROBLEMS AND HELPING US TAKE CARE OF THEM. AS FAR AS THE PAYCHECK GOES EVERYBODY WORKS FOR THEM IF THEY DID NOT THE IT WOULD BE CHARITY AND THAT WOULD BE FOR FREE,BUT EVERYBODY HAS TO PAY BILLS AND I FEEL THAT IF I WAS NOT DOING A GOOD JOB AT MINE THEN THEY WOULD LET ME GO SO THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED TO ANY OF THE PEOPLE I KNOW SO STUDY ON THAT FOR AWHILE AND YES POOR MANAGEMENT HAS TO DO WITH THIS IF YOU HAD A TRUE MANAGER YOU WOULD BE SEEING THE PROBLEMS YOU HAVE AND HANDLING THE ISSUES,

I have worked there, and there are only 2 at night, but they don't do all of what days do, but they do have alot to take care of, they do need more on nights, but ppl don't want to work there for the pay, you have alot to deal with, and as for the home health, what's so bad about it?? and alot of reasons that they quit are because of the one that trains you.so unless you actually work there, you have no idea of the situation.
