GATLINBURG — A rockslide has blocked one lane along U.S. Highway 441, known as "The Spur," between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge tonight, according to the National Park Service.
The slide was reported at 6:10 p.m. in the right-hand, northbound lane just past the tunnel, a park service spokesman said.
Maintenance crews are responding, although it is not yet known when the lane may be opened.
Northbound traffic is limited to one lane through the area and drivers are asked to use caution.

There has been alot of rock slides in the past year or two around the spur and Little River Rd and on 441. At least this one was cleared up pretty fast. I wouldn't mind being stuck in a traffic jam in the mountains right about now.
