As you all know many little towns have their "clicks" but Brownsville takes the cake. Many people in the the county goverment can be bought and for any price. They are defending convicted felons that should be locked up behind bars for years and sending people who drive through town more than once up the creek without a paddle. Everyone is talking about what has happened in other counties in the state about corrupt law enforcement and it is finally time for Edmonson County to get on the bandwagon. Whats right is right and whats wrong is wrong?

Tell us all about the corruption of which you speak. Do you have facts or just ticked off because of some personal conflict? If you have facts did you bother to call the attorney general's office or the FBI?

Easy to come into an internet forum and spout crap but hard to post factual information, eh?

Maybe it seems that way because you live in EC, but what other counties are you familiar with enough to make a comparison to EC?
Yeah, it does seem bad , but corruption is everywhere, hiding, lurking in the dark for it's victims....in all places.
If you don't like it here, move to detroit, I heard it's really peaceful there, be a good place to retire, screw Florida.

You r right on that but I do have proof and have contacted numerous agencies about the proof. B.J. Honeycutt is gone now and Terry Blanton is now in Grayson County because of what is getting ready to go on. They may have to bring in the military because all of the goverment officals there will be in jail.

The county's sheriff's department is a joke we have a buthole for a sheriff, when a deputy rearends a person for looking off they get away with it and I didn't get nothing but pain. This place sucks.

What are you talking about? I know that a Trooper rear ended another moterist and a deputy ran off the road to avoid collision but that was an accident. Do you want someone prosicuted for having a minor accident? Are you nuts?

Yes they done an accident report,They didn't want to pay my hospital bills after six months I finally got alittle money not much for a car. And honeycutt was trying to be sheriff. When it comes to this county they do wrong and u can't squeeze a cent out of them, All I wanted was another car thats all.

That has nothing to do with the sheriff's Dept. and everything to do with insurance companies.

yep, sounds like you need to find out who ECSO has insurance with and switch to them. If there was an accident report filed, insurance companies contacted, and reimbursement, how did they keep that a secret?

You should really tell the whole story. He was comming around a curve on a call and you were BACKING up in the road b/c you'd missed your turn. And it was never a secret.

I don't know about you all but "Facts" just wants to tell parts of the story that makes the sheriffs office look stupid and leave the rest out. And yeah, how was it kept a secret when an accident report was done??? Like someone else said, you need to be complaining about the insurance companies instead of bitching and moaning about the sheriffs office who obviously treated the situation the correct way.

Hart County is another KY county that is just as corrupt. I remember that they had a bad name even when I was a kid. I heard getting a new Sheriff a few years ago didn't fix things and only made them worse.
