Mt Morris is a hole. The north side of town is really dumpy.

His wife was w/ him? Did she not know/care that he got stabbed or stabbed someone else? Makes me question her character as well as his. Oh wait! He obviously doesn't have any as he carelessly stabbed someone & then left. Come on, people! Give up the weapons! If you're going to argue, argue w/ words or just walk away; don't get physical!

You can't blame the town totally, this guy was from Rochester. But with the prison right there, they get released with $50 and a new suit, how far are they going to go? A lot of their families have already moved there from NYC and down-state with the help of churches and other groups, In the summertime, the farms and food plant bring in the migrant workers, Fred's Bar finally put in a plexi-glass front window because someone was going through it every week. It used to be a great town, with a large Italian population, with General Mills (yes, the ceral king) building a mansion right on Main Street that still stands today, the town is just full of history and historic names. Then they turned Craig into a prison and put the Social Services up Murray Hill by the hospital, and it CAN be a rough place to live.

I don't think anyone is blaming the town, I think people are mad as hell of what the town has resorted to as far as population goes. The prison and the bars still open do not help the situation either. I did notice that the "victim" was not listed, usually when that happens the person is a minor. The person who did the stabbing belongs in jail where he is,a nd his wife needs to be there too for aiding in a crime.

The really sad thing about Mt. Morris is that you can tell it was once a proud village. It's too bad.

The so called "victim" is not a minor. He is an adult man who just since October of this year, slashed all four tires on the car belonging to my oldest daughter and viciously beat and kicked my youngest daughter and her boyfriend. Last year he assaulted my oldest daughter. His older brother did nearly four years in prison for Attempted Rape which was a plea deal. He actually raped an ex-girlfriend by knifepoint in a stairwell at her school. He violated his parole by beating my oldest daughter.

My daughter's crime? She became involved with him (the older brother) and had a baby. She didn't know at the time of conception what kind of man he really was. There have been all sorts of problems with this family as a result.

The "victim" should also be arrested and charged as he also assaulted the other guy.

I live fairly close to these people and I just knew when I heard police and ambulance sirens at 1:00 am on Christmas morn, these people we involved.

Thanks for the clarification, I just wondered why the "victim" wasn't named, and yes someone with a criminal history like that does need to be arrested.

Another good reason not to sleep around, but wait till your married to have kids. Look what you get stuck with that you now have to live with the memories of. Not saying all married people live great lives, but waiting in this case would have given her time to see what a SOB he really was....

And usually as A Class I once took, People do not change....
