Nebraska is spending almost 4 million dollars to help fix-up an old unused rusty bridge that connects Neb. and S.D. at Yankton. The total cost will be about 5.5 million and it does not even include painting. In addition a new bridge right next to the old bridge provides room for foot and bike traffic, which the old bridge is to be used. What a waste of our tax dollars. Those who agree with this type of spending should never complain about high taxes and pork barrel spending.
