Why did/was not allowed to check on residents in rural Newton County? Luckily we have been able to handle on this on our own. Thank you for your help.

Well, for one thing the article is about the storm in December, not this last one.
Why the guard wasn't in Newton county, I really don't know. You can contact the Newton County Office of Emergency Management if you're that curious.

Business owners that would like to work on debris removal in Camden County have to register with the county clerk's office. The county will perform background checks and referrals before companies will be allowed to perform the work. If you would like to register you can call Rowland Todd, the county clerk. And the city of Lake Ozark is telling residents to bring debris down to the Ameren property at the bottom of the dam to be burned. Mayor Paul Sale says contact city hall for help. The property is the same one that the Christmas bonfire is held on. For assistance you can contact city hall.
