I don't care if he is only 14, he should be killed immediately if not sooner. Take him out behind the building and put a couple between his eyes. Death is the only reform for an animal like that. I can only hope that the little girls family gets a hold of him first.

I am very sorry for the 8 years old family. But it very sad for the 14 year old family cause they got to live with it. Let not judge. That child will have to live with that for the of it life. We all need to pray about it.

Its sad that before we had to worry about strangers coming into our neighborhoods and kidnapping our children but know we have to worry about the children playmates. What is going on? People have to start getting better control over our children. When DSS decided that we could not spank and punish our kids as we see fit, thats when this kids started doing things that 10, 11, 12, 13 or any other aged kids should be doing. Put prayer back in school, get on your kids know what they are doing and who they are hanging out with, We as parents have to step and take charge,

What a kind and generous gesture from the funeral home.

This boy should be taken out of socity with no second chance. Don't try him as a juvenile or when he turns 18 he'll be released into society and someone elses child will wind up dead. Pedophiles usually repeat their crime, the death penalty puts a complete halt on repeat offenders. This boy not only raped an 8 year old child he murdered her therefore I hope the death penalty is applied here.

Our judges need to start ruling with an iron fist so some of these criminals will think before they act.

My condolences to the family of this young girl.

For all parents with children please check this website to find out if a REGISTERED sex offender is living in your neighborhood. It's a free site and you can search by name, address, city, county or zip code.

By our own constitution, the 14 year old is innocent until proven guilty. Give him his day in court and let the facts speak for themselves before his ultimate judgment is given. If he is found guilty, then by all means, the death penalty would be highly appropriate in this case. I think the death penalty should be doled out based on the crime committed and not who the perpetrator was, or their age or any other factor. Had a parent committed this crime ala Susan Smith, then the death penalty should still apply.

Also, if there is a kind, caring and almighty God in charge our lives and the lives of the victim and perpetrator here and there is no force any greater, then this type of crime would NEVER occur. If we believe an almighty God exists that could have kept this murder from occurring, but chose not to act, why would we want to praise him now? Is it possible the victim was praying for her life in her last few minutes on this earth?

Slam me if you want, but at least think about it first.

It is good to know that there are still a few good caring people. My heart goes out the to family and maybe they will know that God will take care of their little angel and she will forever be safe. Thank you for your blessing

If found guilty for the crime, the boy should be shot out back of the court house and tied to a car and driven to the county dump. Just a thought.
