Has anyone ever used them? What do you think? Where's the best place to buy them in Piedmont and what brand?

Redneck jimmy needs a brain and a head to put it in. He goes around making stupid remarks on most threads. Has nothing intelligent to add just runs his mouth.

$80, is that like the equivalent of a carton? I was hoping using these would help me quit.

Thanks a bunch. I'll be getting some there to try. Hoping I can eventually quit.

Try a cheap one from the gas station to see if you like it before you invest much money - be warned that "vaping" is not smoking. Don't expect it to be exactly the same - but it will take the nic fit away.
There are a hundred different kinds and configurations, flavors etc. of e-cigs. The ones you buy in gas stations aren't usually refillable. I recommend you go online and buy an E-go style kit and buy your liquids from US vendors. Many of the eliquid vendors offer custom flavors and levels of nicotine, as well. That is good for weaning down the cravings.(Even tho ecigs aren't marketed for quitting smoking.)
Online, you should be able to find a starter kit with a couple batteries, charger, case and some sort of cartridges/atomizers/tanks (cartomizers or clearomizers) for around $40.
The ego style is a lot bigger than a standard cig, tho - and ecigs are always heavier. On the other hand, you aren't toting a cig pack and lighter around all the time, either.

I've tried those the dollar store have and they are alright but they are made in China and don't like that. I plan on ordering Amerismoke, they are American made and have all kinds of flavors. They also seem less expensive since you can refill them yourself. Has anyone used this brand?

What I am wondering if you refill them yourself will they leak.

Also found some call blu but you can't refill them but they are American made and they sell them at Walgreens in PB.

I don't think any of them are marketed for quitting but many people have. At least if I can't quit I'm not getting the tar and other chemicals which is what gives you lung cancer. Not to mention its not smoking up the house or your car and making you smell like cigarette smoke.

When I had the one from the dollar store I found I still wanted a cigarette. Makes me wonder what else is in them that is addictive because you felt like you were smoking and you are getting the nicotine.

They have them at the old Ross station for $8.99 I think. It is one e-cig that is supposed to be equal to 2 packs of cigarettes. I got one but it only last like 2 days and I only took like 4 drags at the most off of it at a time when I needed a smoke. They aren't bad, kinda make my lungs burn a little but it does kick the nicotine need for while. I heard it helped some people quit all together when they used them. I am hoping they help me quit. For $8.99 it might be worth it for you to try it out before spending $80 on the other kind.

I wouldn't recommend spending $80 for a brand name. You can get generic starter kits all over the internet for $30 -$40 that are better than the ones they sell in Wal-Mart, Walgreens, etc., then buy your e-liquids from American vendors.

I've bought a few around town now and they claim they are the equivalent of two packs of cigarettes but I have my doubts about that. At least it don't seem like they are, more like one or slightly more.
