Would everyone out there in piedmont like to know about your elementery principle(Charlie Brown)what I would call a child abuser that us parents would be throne in jail for? Well when you whip a 7 year old child so hard and 4 hours later he still has red marks on his top part of legs to me that is child abuse! It was reported but remember this,is piedmont! Ask some of the teachers that teach at Clearwater elementry that says he is out of control!

that makes me angry b/c in some cases if a child is whooped by the parents and leaves a red mark the school calls division of family services and has the parent investigated...the same should be done to the principal...i don't consider it their responsibility to dicipline my child with a whoopin...if my daughter done something bad enough to deserve it then i should be the one doing the punishing

Lol. Whatever, back in my day if I got in trouble in school I'd get paddled so hard that come off the ground a little. Guess what? I stopped doing whatever I did to get the swats. Maybe the old ways are the better way seeing how kids act these days. SWING AWAY.

sorry " right " but i dont see it that way if he ever hits my child that hard he better plan on being hit and not on the bottom but since he has been here i have seen alot of changes like the teachers well some of them not all think they can just snatch a child or get down right mean right there in front of everyone im not a mean person but let me see one of them treat my child the way ive seen them do other children and we will have issues for real

You gave them permission to paddle your child. If you don't want them to be spanked then don't sign the form giving them permission. Oh, but that would be to easy because then you wouldn't have anything to complain about on topix.

The whiners here are the ones who probably kiss their kids butts and give them whatever they want, whenever they want and then wonder why they act like spoiled brats. It's because THEY ARE. So kiss their little red marks and coo over them and tell them what a mean mean man their principle is and how they don't have to listen to him or any other figure of authority and watch how far they go in life. I am sure you will be proud.

well first of all thats far from how i raise me children but anyways no i do think they should be punished but not like that i mean theres not need to hit a child that hard i can swat my children with my hand and its like ive just beat them they know that when i swat them they have done something wrong and they staighten up but like i said there is no reason to swat a child hard enough to leave marks and if this is being done then someone needs to learn to control theirself weare talking about k thru 4 come on now they are not high schoolers maybe he needs to ease up a little

Did the child get punished for not puncuating their sentences correctly? Or at all? I'm just asking. For crying out loud, that's crazy!

Yes I would like to know why this child got punished. Does this child bruise easy? Is this child a problem at school a lot? Mr. Brown usually tries everything possible before he resorts to paddling. He has paddled two of my boys, and it was never bad. Did that child move when mr. Brown went to swat him? Mr Brown has always helped us with our boys. I can't imagine him doing this on purpose

im not sure on why that child got swats but i do know that my sons teacher is a little to harsh cause he got hit in the bathroom by another child and there was two other children that said my son just walked away and he still got in punished im sorry but to me he should not of and ive seen more than one time that other children gettin yelled at when it was another child doin something i think the teachers need to make sure they have the right child before they blow up but like we all know unless you have money or are well known your child is always the bad one thats how i see the teachers and like ive said not all of them are like this and as for mr brown he has so far not seemed to harsh but im not there all the time i think that some of the teachers are the ones you need to worry about more than him

I walked in the elementary school for my sons evaluation meeting. There was a child sitting on a bench by the doors. I thought nothing of it. he was most likely having a time out. My meeting didn't last but 20 minutes and when i come out of the office, i see this principal in this child's face, thumping him in the forehead saying "use your brain, that's why you have one!". Yelling. It really makes me want to reconsider my child going to that school. I wish i knew this child's name, or parents. If it was my child, i would NOT be happy. So for this to be posted, i think is a good thing. Maybe the parents should start asking their children if anything happened at school each day. There might be children not telling their parents of the abuse going on.

This really needs to be looked into. That ticks me off. I'll be re-considering sending my child to Clearwater Elementary when he gets old enough if Charlie Brown is still there.

I just wish i knew the child's name or parents. Trust me, i would have gone straight to them. I can't imagine feeling like i was stupid. That's how that would have made me feel. I hope this child went home and told his parents, and hopefully they'll get on here and read this. Doubtful, but hopeful.
