There is a very bad "meth" problem in Piedmont, Alabama. This couple needs to be put in jail for a long time. If she is driving on suspended license why can't Piedmont Police stop her when she is riding the roads at all hours of the day & night? They need to be stopped.

Those people look like the walking dead. I saw this young woman in Piedmont coming out of the drug store. I wouldn't have recognized her except for her voice. She was skin and bones and her skin looked horrible. My son asked me what was wrong with her and I said, "Take a close look. That's the face of meth." I hope he remembers that because it was scary. I feel sorry for the police. That stuff blows up. They don't make enough money to bust meth labs.

John it sounds like you're upset that the officer got some meth off the street. Here in Piedmont, we're thankful. I'm older and I know that's the worst drug that's ever been out there. Kids are dying for that crap. and speaking of OD's, please keep methadone off the streets and away from kids too.

No not funny, glad to see progress on the meth war, just curious, if it really was a Cedartown traffic officer or was it really a County officer??

They were out riding around..because they have nothing else to do & a Cedartown City Police Office stopped them. The article stated they found several baggies with meth and glass pipes. It's scary to know that these people on METH are riding on the same roads we are on and our kids are on. Hope they get sentenced to many years in jail. They both are still roaming the roads of Piedmont & she has suspended licenses. She was busted last July in Jacksonville AL & she is suppose to be on 2 years probation for that & now arrested again.

That's a bad drug. Everybody knows that by now so why do they even start? Drano and battery acid. Are you kidding me? This stuff is not pot. Those people are dangerous. You can tell by looking at them. It's not just the weight loss and the skin sores. They look like they've lost their souls. If I ever catch anybody giving that stuff to my kids, they'd be better off turning themselves into the police. Much safer that way.

So true...this couple has been known to sell drugs to under age teenagers. They will sell it to anyone to make some money. They don't care about anyone or anything else. Your right their "soul" is gone. They have NO business on the streets of Piedmont. So dangerous!!!!!

Seems stopping the meth problem is like putting lipstick on a pig.

As long as they can get the stuff to make it, which I understand is easy to come by, I'm afraid you're right. A guy at the hardware store said he wondered for a long time why the same people were buying the same stuff. I forgot what he said they bought.
How do the dumb a**** keep from blowing themselves up?

I know these people and they both are so burnt out on drugs. She does not work but sells drugs to make a living. They are making "meth" and selling it too. The police have got to know what they are doing. They are both the "FACE OF METH". They are a danger to the whole city. These people need to be in prison. Away from our children. He looks like a walking skeleton that hasn't slept in weeks and they both look like they are 70 years old and they are just in their 30's. What a waste of life.

The local police have probably turned them into the DEA. The DEA will get them. It's just a matter of time. In my opinion they don't pay police enough money to bust up meth labs. Leave that to Haz Mat and the DEA.

If you want these people off the street, start giving better descriptions because I think the Piedmont Police know about this site and meth addicts don't have enough sense to work a computer - unless they're trying to steal one. I'd do it but I don't know who you all are talking about.

In the article in the Cedartown Newspaper it said "Savage Street". Most people that live in Piedmont know where that street is. It is obvious who "they" are. These people, believe it or not, do have computer access & cell phones. The police have got to know what they are doing. She has no license & riding around the middle of town all the time.

We know who they are...Tiffany & Jason. They are still smoking & making drugs. Why can't something be done about these 2 DRUG ADDICTS?????

Why can't the Drug Task Force catch them? All they need to do is watch the house on Savage St. They are constantly in & out. Selling & using. They are selling drugs to our children. They are in their 30's & hang out with people (drug addicts) a lot younger...like some teen-agers. PEOPLE WATCH YOUR CHILDREN. These are dangerous people. If they can catch Eddie Chandler they should be able to catch this couple.
