This is the same mindset that continues to run the deficit through the roof and blindly vote for anything that cries, "for our......." (Just fill in the blank). Who needs financial responsibility? They will be back in two years with another one on the ballot with the same battle cry and dire warning. Voters will be shaking in their boots as the district warns of the demise of the community and suffering children who will not get a quality education. Oh wait, doesn't that sound like Congress and the Senate? Just like the social security system, the well runs dry at some point.

Great, I was wondering what I was going to spend my $150 pay raise on. Save me a lot of headache.
I know, I know everybody...I should be happy I even got a raise.

My question is when will the State of Ohio start enforcing the Supreme Courts multiple rullings of relying on property taxes to fund public schools is unconstitutional?

So what was the margin of victory?
Is the vote count available?
Yeah, I know - details, details, details ... but isn't that the type of fact reporting we should expect from a news agency....

Never mind, 10tv - nbc4i already had the detailed vote count on their website:
5,548 - yes
4,905 - no

Jonathan - you are correct, the Dispatch has the following:

"The vote was 6,038 to 5,373, according to final, unofficial returns from the boards of election in both Fairfield and Franklin counties."

I guess it may take more time for an official count (or to locate someone with the ability to count over 11,000...) Hmmmm, isn't math supposed to be included in education

I guess he doesn't want to spend all of his money on taxes like you do? Maybe he wants to be able to spend HIS money on what he wants rather than having some school board impose their will on HIM?

Bexley and Pickerington are identical. They don't know a levy they don't like.

Hopefully we see a few 'anti patriot' homes for sale now. These tea bagger idiots cannot leave Pickerington fast enough for me. John, Larry, and the rest of the misfits can pack their bags.

Hey, I didn't fall for any of their B.S. I cannot believe the people voted for this rather than demand fiscal responsibility.

Spend his own money! Ha. He lives off the public dime. He spends our money. That's why he is so disturbed that people who work have more money than him. Simple and obvious.
