Has anyone else seen that on 10th Ave where Lara's Cafe/Olive Restaurant used to be there is a sign up for a Corner Cafe with brown paper all over the windows. Then there is a truck out front that has written on it cornercafe29.com .

I tried the website and it does not exist. I did do some research and found that there was a place by that name in Collegeville (don't know if it still exists there).

Anyone know anything more?

I went to the new Corner Cafe on Sunday and I have to tell you the food was amazing and the staff was incredible. The owner Ron came over to our table to see how everything was. He was very nice. They even cooked our food with the power out. They now have a customer for life.
A GREAT PLACE

We have known Ronnie for years as we used to frequent the Gateway Cafe in Wayne. We have since moved to Limerick and are delighted that Ronnie is now in our town.
The Corner Cafe is unlike any chain restaurant. It is family-owned and when you walk in, you are treated as such.
The employees are extremely personable and the food is outstanding. It's a wonderful place to come with your family for breakfast or lunch and we can't wait to bring our grandkids for dinner.

Tried it out for the first time today. Friendly staff but didn't hit the mark. Menu show club sandwich with fries for 8.95. Came out with chips, I thought they made a mistake so I asked for fries that cost me another 3.25. When asked how my meal was?I told them about the club sandwich shown with fries and why was I charged 12.20 . The cashier girl said the menu pictures are wrong, "Sorry that sucks with a smile"

Breakfast - The food is very good, the staff is attentive and nice. However I felt it was way too expensive for breakfast even though the portions were big. My 7 year old had the kids pancakes - asked for chocolate chip (which is on the adult menu) the waitress never mentioned that adding a tablespoon of chocolate chips to the top of the pancakes would be an extra dollar. Same with the breakfast sandwich - was told our sandwich came with a potato - but wasn't told about the charge. 2 coffee's 2.85 each? Family of 4 - 41.00 breakfast :0( Kind of sad that it cost that much - really would love to patron a roof breakfast restaurant.

We were there recently for dinner. The waitress was very loud and you could hear her talk at every table that had customers. We were never offered any refills on drinks. I did not even finished my dinner. My vegetable was dry or sitting out to long. The same with the meat, very dry around the edges. We have not been to the one in Phoenixville but we will not be back to the one in Royersford. Prices were a little high for the amount of food you get. $3.25 for a small handfull of fries. Very disappointed. The only posititve comment I have is the restaurant is very clean and the food was hot. Sorry, won't be back.

Really sorry you were disappointed and would like to clear up any confusion. We typically do not charge to add chocolate chips to the kids silver dollar pancake/egg/meat combo ($4.99). Coffee is not $2.85 each, it is $1.99 with unlimited refills. Both the breakfast croissant and breakfast griller sandwich ($6.95) come with potato cakes (2) or homefries, there is no extra charge. The fried egg/meat "breakfast sandwich" ($4.45) comes with chips. If you feel something is wrong, be it with the charges, food or anything, please do not hesitate to bring it to our attention. Our goal is to make your experience at Corner Cafe a positive one. We hope to have the opportunity to see you again at the Corner Cafe.

You are correct, the photo does show fries with the club sandwich, unfortunately, we were a victim of the printer, who chose the photos, and honestly, we didn't notice once the menu was delivered. The waitress should have informed you it was an extra charge to add fries (we have a 1/2 order of fries avaialble for $1.95). We apologize if you felt we mis-represented, it was not our intenetion. We hope you will return.

Very sorry you did not enjoy your visit, apparently an off night for us. Hope you will reconsider and give us another chance in the future.

I work at one of The Mahoney Family's other restaurants in King of Prussia PA, Gateway Cafe II. Gateway Cafe II has been open for 10 years, the Royersford and Collegeville locations have opened in the past 10 months and these 2 restaurants opened after their restaurant in the Gateway Shopping Center in Devon closed after 30+ years because the shopping center owners thought a bank in that location would be lucrative. Their family works at all of the restaurants (I am not family) and they are always very willing to please their customers. If you are dining at the Royersford location and are unhappy with your food, the staff, or anything else, ask to speak to Ron the Owner or his son Matt, they want you to enjoy your food and the atmosphere and if the customers don't give feedback they can't fix what is wrong. I really can't imagine the food being horrible, none of it is sitting around cooked and just heated up when it is ordered. The food is prepared and cooked as it is ordered which doesn't happen at most restaurants. Some of the wait staff is new at the Royersford and Collegeville locations so they are learning that we are expected by owners to treat the customers like they are family, they are dining at a family restaurant and to be that way even with difficult customers. If you are at the Collegeville location ask to speak with Joe another one of Ron's sons, great guy, extremely nice and really goes out of his way to make customers happy. And lastly if you are at Gateway Cafe II, Peg is Ron's wife and she is there pretty much 7 days a week and is always bending over backwards to make sure her customers get the best food and service possible. I don't think there are many customers that come in that she doesn't know there name and the goes for her staff including myself. I can suggest to them to put boxes at the locations so customers can leave their feedback. This is not some huge food chain where they are just trying to make a buck and could care less about their customers, they want your experience to be good and want to come back.

We happened by after getting a little lost looking for the outlets The place is cute and the menu is basic American fare. What put us off was the (i assume) cook using very inappropriate language when speaking to the other workers, he seemed so nasty and stomped around the restaurant like he was looking for trouble. My mother remarked, I certainly don't want whatever hes making, so I had a quick salad and mom had coffee, don't think we'd go back even if we found it again.

Real Sorry for that behavior I don't know what was going on at the time but there is no excuse for that behavior and I sincerely apologize! I will discuss this with my staff ASAP and I appreciate you putting it out there so I can address it. I am the owner and spend most my time at the King of Prussia location and I believe in peace love and harmony at work I also hate confrontation and since we are family run I do appreciate you stoping in! We will try harder to PLEASE!
