Just ate here on opening day. As you would expect on opening night, the service was kind of spotty, but I've seen far worse on an opening night (Firebirds in Collegeville is a memorable example).

The burgers and fries were very good. However, it's sort of over priced when you consider that they always sell the burgers separate from the fries. You can get a combo platter for about $12. Max and Erma's right around the corner has very good burgers for a cheaper price, and they include fries.

All in all, not bad, but too expensive to make a regular dining out option.

You have to consider value for your dollar. At Max's you get frozen fries and a burger that is not near the quality as Cheeburger. Plus you have to pay for your toppings. At Cheeburger you can load it with toppings, you get fries or rings with the platter as well as a side salad. And the burger is not only better quality but much larger in size. And the rolls are much better quality. And you dont feel sick after you eat it like you do after Max n Erma's.

Well it seems the predictable has happened ... Cheeburger Cheeburger is now a ghost town. The bad service there is really killing the place. How can you go from packing in the place in to what it is now in such a short time?

you said it yourself... the bad service. It's not hard to make a good burger (and the burgers were mediocre at best... and overpriced) but the service was just awful. If I hadn't been really hungry I would have just walked out. And it's not like it's that hard to find a good burger. There is absolutely no reason to put up with their terrible service.
