According to their website, a Collegeville location is coming soon for Primo's Hoagies. Does anyone know where it will be located? Or, when it will be open?

I hope the hours r better than the rofo one! I don't know how they stay in business! I have tried 3x in the past 2 weeks to get food there but they r always closed! 7pm on Fridays 6 on sat and 4 on Sunday! So i guess I'm sticking to pizza until the Collegeville one opens.... As long as the hours r more appropriate!

I agree, pitboss, what is up with that Rofo location and the hours they keep?? Is this standard for all Primo's locations, or is it just this location that's not interested in making money?

It is incredibly annoying. It seems this is common among Primo's locations or at least the one in Royersford and the one in Trooper. Though the Trooper location has been opened a tad later but not much.
The funny thing is when you call close to closing, the Rofo store acts surprised that you're calling clsoe to closing like it is normal to expect a hoagie place to be closed that early on the weekend.

I used to love Primo's when I lived in South Philly years ago. I've had a few sandwiches from the store on Egypt Rd. and one from Germantown Pk. I must say... never again!
Way overpriced and not even close to the original. The meat was mush and almost no veggies. I don't think the franchises get enough supervision from the home office.
Don't waste you money.

I don't know. The hoagies are pretty awesome, especially Tuna Diablo and Mozzarella and Peppers. Whenever I go to the Rofo one, it is packed.
I will be psyched if one comes to Collegeville.

Primo's is good but way overpriced. I got a Schwartzie, small bag of chips, and fountain soda. Cost me $11 and change.
Seriously?$11 for a sammich?
I would rather support a 'local' sammich or pizza shop.
I have been to several different Primo's locations. The two constants are: overpricing, and an attitude. they are concerned about the sale - not the customer satisfaction.
No more Primo's for me. Been There, Dun With That!

Seriously, their hours stink. Don't understand the business aspect of them at all. Won't be going back. Wawa and Subway wins!

Wawa is fast food and good, subway is subway, but hands down!!!! Primo's is the best hoagie spot in the Region. I don't own a franchise, but if I was looking to buy one I would. They are a super franchise with a great product. I am glad you will not be in line in front of me as it will mean I will get my sandwich faster. Primo's is PRIMO.. Thanks for coming to c-ville!!!

Yup, me and the other 50 or more families that I have personally spoken with about it, will not be in line. Who sometimes have to pick up dinner after their ridiculously early closing time due to work. Would 2 more hours paying 2 employees kill them? To possibly satisfy many more customers? Just bad business. Shame. Because I agree their hoagies are good. But for the HUGE price difference, they could certainly be more accommodating.

had my first Primo hoagie today. Very disappointed. I got a larger better tasting hoagie from Wegmans for the same price as the Primo. Bummer for Primos but thank goodness for Wegmans.

I think the new one in Collegeville is open a bit later than the Royersford one. I went into the Collegeville one a couple of weeks ago, and was not impressed with the sandwich I received. It was expensive and not that great tasting. I MUCH prefer the sandwiches at the Collegeville Bakery, just across the bridge. They are high quality, large and much more reasonable-plus it's family run.

You are very right Arod, the sandwiches at the Collegeville Italian Bakery are top notch! And if you go there often enough you might get chosen as their customer of the week!
