This is Bob Dobalena. I thought you were talking about me. Sorry.

Yeah, Fox29 is always out to slander someone, so you should definitely call them!

My story matches many of these posts. I did the BBB, AG, Police, etc AND took him to Civil Court. I won that case and he had 30 days to repay me. 30 days is past and (surprise) he hasn't paid.
I called Courthouse, I was advised that since his business is shut down, they no longer have jurisdiction to make him pay. I will file for a "Lean against credit" on him but that will cost me another $40 and not sure if really will have an impact anyway. I guess I have to give up at this point.

I'm also a victim of this guy's fraud. Does anyone know what happens now that he's closed the storefront down and skipped town? Does that mean none of us will ever get justice?

I heard he owed the landlord more than $500k so the landlords attorney had all assets frozen in the store to help make back some of the money. I think it is unfair that landlord gets to recoupe some of their loss but we are left in the dark. I also think it is a disgrace the position the local court took on this matter washing their hands of it

FYI: They are having sherifs sale on all of furniture that is in there. The landlord officially doesn't have a legal right to the merchandise unless no one shows for the sale. Check the date for the sherifs sale maybe you can by it for a $1.

I was just over there, and couldn't find the store. Where exactly is it? Is there still the sign? I saw the '4 less' store, to the left of the old Gold's Gym, near the NorthEast Entrance (label as such), but not 'Design Center at Oaks'. Where, exactly? And starting at what time until when, please? I am so confused. Thanks for your help!

His store address is J1020, its in the corner opp to 4 less. There is no Sheriff's sale; they took out the sign; not sure if they changed the date because of Sandy.

Ok we were in there on Sat, because of the SHERRIFS SALE and LIQUIDATION SIGNS. We saw a chair we really liked and the price was right. We have not purchased it yet and now I'm thinking NO WAY...I think we met Bob and well....I did not like him. And not sure that is him speaking, but if it is..no wonder he is out of buisness.

Bob just saw your ad in the paper. Was thinking of stopping by to check some furniture out. Reading your comments just makes me want to shop in your store. NOT

They are not having a sheriffs sale. Read the sign. They want you to think that. They are very shady. Was just there last week and was followed around by an over eager salesman.

I visited this store yesterday, April 7th, and what a joke. There was some blonde lady walking around and when we asked her if she worked in the store her answer was yes but she did not offer to help us. Instead she went outside and smoked which we guess is more important than helping a customer out. The prices for a place going out of business were way too high. We walked out and can now understand why this place is going out of business. If we are going to buy something that is $3,399.00 we do not expect to see scratches all over it like what we saw.

We went into this store yesterday and what a joke. For a store that is closing up they are sure not reducing their prices. We were looking around and approached a blonde woman and asked her if she worked there. She said YES but didn't even have the courtesy to ask us if she could help us. Instead she went outside to sit in the sun and to smoke. We did see what we wanted for $3,399.00 and when we mentioned to a so-called salesman (a real con artist) that it had a lot of scratches he said they would not take care of the scratches. If we are going to spend $3,399.00 on something where a store is going out of business we expect it to be in good condition. We were not impressed with this store at all. We do not like being cond nor do we like being lied to. No wonder this store is going out of business.
