I filed a complaint in civil court because I could not take it anymore, I have been waiting for 6 months to correct the issues that I have with my dining room set, It only cost $131.00 to file the complaint and if the judgement goes against him he will be ordered to compensate you for the money it cost you to file the complaint. He will also be orderd to compensate you by either refunding your money or by taking whatever you wnat from his store equal to the money that you have paid him. I would strongly suggest doing this because you have your reciept and proof that you have not received the goods promised. I wish you luck and when it is all said and done this man will not be able to do business anywhere if I can help it.You can also contact the manufacturer if you know who it is becasue they will put him on a hold from purchasing furniture form their warehouse until the issue is resolved.

I take it most of you didn't pay with a credit card? If you did, you file a chargeback, but he knows this, and probably makes sure anyone who pays with plastic is happy, check people he can play with!

I order a living room set and are still waiting to receive it. I was told I would have it the following week, it never came and then I was told during the weekend, it never came and now he is saying Thursday. If I don't have it by Thursday I am calling the credit card company Friday. Also, I am worried he will switch it for a different set or give me something damaged. I wish I knew how shady this guy was before we went there.

I ordered Klaussner furniture and he said he didn't get his shipment last week and it wasnt on this shipment. I will say I called MGM trucking who he said delivers the furniture. I called them and they did pick up 18 skids of klaussner furniture but fortunate for me mine wasn't on it. LOL I don't know who mentioned this, but what do you do when you have already paid the card off that you paid with?

Yes, I think that is how he cons people by only giving them part of what they ordered. I called the credit card company of he didn't deliver anything it would be easy to take care of, but in my case he deliver everything but one piece. So you have to dispute the whole order or nothing within 60 days.

within 60 days of purchase? just lovely he told me to wait 8-10 week and now its been 12 so its been past 60 days of purchase.

Bob is a professional con man who is wanted for tax evasion in several states and even countries. Don't let his " don't worry about it" and " god bless"s fool you he is a criminal straight up. But don't worry he will be out of business soon...

We were able to get our money back for the loveseat we paid for but didn't receive. I finally gave up on dealing with Bob it was just upsetting me and I wasn't getting anywhere. So I went through my credit card company (Discover) and BBB.org and got the $500 back. It took a over 2 months but it is settled and the credit card company was very easy to deal with.

We happened into the Design Center because it was near the Dump, which we didn't care much for. Bob's salesman showed us a nice dining room set, but only the table, chairs, and the china cabinet were in the showroom. We were told the sideboard could be ordered, so we took the set, paying with a credit card. We wish we had done our homework on this place. The pieces we saw were delivered in about 4 weeks, and were in good shape; however, 4 months after we ordered it, the sideboard still hadn't arrived. Numerous calls to Bob got us nothing but broken promises. We finally called the credit card company, and they are working on getting the money from Bob. Meanwhile, we went to a reputable furniture company, and they had the sideboard to us in less than two weeks. You are taking your chances dealing with this company.

This has been the worst shopping experience I've ever had. Bob literally took our money and delivered nothing. Now, three months later, he won't even answer the phone when you call the store. He gives you no status on your order and feels no need to refund your money. No need in leaving a message when you call because he will not respond. Unfortunately, I have no hope of getting the $3000.00 back that we paid for our furniture; at least not if we don't go to court. If you haven't already bought from this store, don't do it no matter how much you want the furniture. You will be screwed just like the rest of us.
