Driving through VF park this past Friday evening at approx. 9:15 PM, my son and I witnessed five white, oval shaped light forms in the northwest sky, moving around each other in a very fast pattern, then coming together and quickly "breaking away" from each other, only to begin the swirling, dancing pattern again. This went on for at least five - eight minutes... possibly longer. I lost sight as I continued driving home. My young teenage son was actually frightened; I was more intrigued than anything. The lights were not of a definite shape, rather blurred oval shaped... and as I said, moving very quickly in a fixed pattern, over and over again. There was no visible sign of the lights eminating from the ground - such as one would see from a "search light". i have never seen anything like this, and cannot for life of me explain what we saw. Did anyone else witness this? Does anyone have an explanation, other than some type of UFO incident?

Hi - a friend from Audubon was talking on the phone on Friday when he asked me to look at the sky for those lights. I stepped outside my Eagleville townhouse and saw those lights - as you described them... but I've seen similar lights as promotional lights. I thought they could be from the new outlet shops in Limerick. The lights weren't very bright and seemed to be reflected off the clouds - so they had to be coming from a source from the ground. We didn't think much of it - relax. perhaps a call to the outlets at Limerick could set your minds at ease?

My children and I also saw the lights (promotional) and tracked them down to a birhtday party next to Kimberton Park. Definitely not a UFO.

I live in Spring Mt. a heck of a way from Kimberton which is in Chester County and I know exactly where that is. As soon as I got on Township Line Rd. in Schwenksville on Fri. night heading towards 422 I noticed strange lights in the sky above me. Very hard to focus on driving. I finally pulled over after several miles and watched the display, it was quite something. Exactly what the first person described and they were not coming from the ground but from above the clouds. I was out in the middle of know where.

there was a celestial event over the time span that everyone is referring to . It was a meteror shower and it was supposed to happen about the date you are all referring to. It was supposed to happen in the wee hours. it was supposed to be a great event. unfortuately i missed it.

I saw the lights also, when I was coming thru VF park. They were very distracting! The lights seem to be coming from Kimberton area. I thought it might be from the opening of Citadel FCU is Kimberton. But MMM mentioned from a birthday party - that is pretty cool idea.

What year is this blog taking place in? I just watched these light/beings for twenty minutes in South Florida. They were moving through the clouds in large sweeping circles. But the light didn't show on the sky, just clouds... hmmmm. So I searched for a similar report. It was wonderful.

These are created by a promotional motorized
skylight, not E.T.
They join together as one light, then split.
The beams are invisible, only the clouds show the lights.

I've been doing some research for the past few months trying to find some reports that are relevant to what i've seen. I'm not one to believe in UFO's or aliens or anything like that. However, one night my brother and I were drivig down a road at night and saw in front of us maybe 100 yds away in the night sky, what I would describe as a cloud maybe 20 ft by 20 ft. Now the thing is, it was a clear night and this object moved at the speed of our car following us down this road. As we put our heads out the window to get a little better look at it, it began to manuever in a pattern that is unexplainable. Left to right front to back at a very very fast pace. But it wasn't an actuall object like i said. More, a cloud-like material. I've seen it on more than one occasion now.

It's been a while now, but I think I saw these lights too - they looked like they were coming from Phoenixville (I live in Oaks, and they were not from Limerick outlets). They moved in the pattern you describe, reflecting off the clouds.

I saw the same exact lights Saturday night on November 15, 2008. I quickly ran in the house and grabbed my daughter to make sure she saw them too…I thought I was hallucinating! I wonder what it was???

This light sighting occured on 1/04/2008. It made my heart race it was so exciting. I tried to call a friend as I was pulled over watching and totally forgot I had my camera in my pocket book. Once I got onto 422 I lost sight of them. It would've have had to be some light if it was coming from a kids birthday party in Kimberton in January as Kimberton is well over 15 miles away from where I was.

I did talk to an actual eyewitness who saw the lights in Aurantia, FL (2005) and these were something totally different. She said several people had pulled off to the side of US1 to observe these things in the night sky towards the East. She said they were so bright they turned the night into day & they arranged themselves purposely into a vertical column of nine or so very bright objects & the one at the bottom made a spiral like vertical climb to the top. Then, two of them raced off to the West at a speed she said was way too fast to be a plane. Then she said they simply "went out". I drove to Aurantia during the day & looked around. Aurantia is basically a swamp. I did see a strange "ghostbusters" - like tower & the sky was full of planes, but otherwise, it's just a swamp....Al-

I saw the the same lights as BAC did here in North Fork, Ca. August 21st 2010 around 8:30pm and lasted over an hour. Almost looked as if the lights was chasing each other or racing. The lights did get brighter at times but mostly dim. I counted at least 6-8 lights at one time. Still wondering.
