If you come for wings the best days are Monday, we have all you can eat for $10.99 from 6-10 pm , or Tuesday, they're $4.00 all day. Thanks!

OaksGuy - I grew up in an ACTUAL bad neighborhood. There is no place, or person anywhere around Oaks, Collegeville, Upper Providence, etc., etc. that is remotely scary (it's the suburbs for crying out loud). Either step outside the box, or seal it shut and ship it off somewhere else.

OaksGuy - Umm, yeah, so, uh it is a fact. Check all the crime, drug use, dropout rate, etc. etc. etc. statistics (aka FACTS). What you will find is this is one of the safer areas in the entire country. My point is obviously (to anyone with a brain) not that there isn't some bad characters in an otherwise nice area, but that your judgment of how bad the bar is may be a little off considering where you live (and I guarantee you have always lived in a nice area). You are trying to make it sound like this is some Hells Angels hangout in a seedy part of Los Angeles, when in fact it is just a neighborhood bar/restaurant on a side street in the suburbs.

This is exactly what I mean. Some Guy thinks the Perky doesn't compare to an L.A. infested drug den in terms of community safety. And he's right. But my God what a low standard to live up to! YEAAH we have a better crime rate than the seedy parts of L.A.! WAY TO GO.
No one here can dispute the place has been frequented by The Pagans, a notorious biker gang. Mere blocks away from ball fields, Arnolds Fun Center, and a few family restaurants, you have a group who has been charged with drug use and sale, extortion, and murder. And if the more decent residents of the town don't know this, then they should.

I have been in this establishment quite a few times, they have some of the best wings I've had in the area. Staff is normally in a good friendly mood. I recommend it to people who like a nice local bar with people that can hold conversations.

Tell me, how does one hold a conversation over the blaring of terrible music and the monosyllabic grunts of some of the worst drunks in the neighborhood (And if you know some of the drunks in this neighborhood, you know that's saying something.)

I've been to the Perky MANY times. First off, the music is loud, but the jukebox has thouuusands of songs. You don't like someone's choice, then put up a dollar to make your own pick.

And monosyllabic grunting drunks? I've seen a lot of regular joes at the Perky actually. Sure you get your usual wasted dudes here and there, but for the most part, I've run into a ton of great people at the Perky.

And the food is great too! What's to complain about?
