Perkiomen Greene Development- High Tension Lines
Posted in the Phoenixville Forum

Hello, we are relocating to the area and have been interested in the layout of homes in the Perkiomen Greene Development off Trappe Rd. However, there are some large tension lines in the area (likely why the homes are more affordable than others). Anyone have any experience living there? We have a young son and are hesitant to purchase if any risks associated with being that close.
Thank you for any assistance.

I don't know why you're saying the homes are more affordable due to the lines. The lines are across from the development and up Trappe Rd some. It's not like the lines are overhead. Not nearly. I've lived in a single family home in Perkiomen Greene since 1999. The lines never crossed my mind when buying or now. I can't even see them from where I'm at. The only time I even think about them is when I walk my dog up to the school. I wouldn't worry about them. You and others may disagree.

Thank you for the help! I am moving from a town where all of the wires are buried so its new to me. I loved the house and the development though!
