A Genuardi's employee just told me that the Royersford store has an expensive lease on its current location until 2015.

We local residents need to start coming back to Genuardi's if we want it to remain here.

Or we can look at yet another empty retail space.

Let's give Genuardi's a fighting chance in Rofo.

perhaps Genuardi's should lower their prices, and then they might have a fighting chance. Since they have been purchased by Safeway, they have been outrageous. I go there for their gift card rack and that's it.

Okay all you Walmart lovers, recent stories (Time, WSJ, etc) talk about Walmart giving up on it Price Cutting Strategy. Now they will "Feature" some great prices in high visibility areas, but overall prices are heading up. Good thing you all have your lovley Walmarts and fewer competitive options than there used to be. Now you'll pay more, and think you are still saving, and have fewer other stores as options. Keep up the good fight to close more local retail and bring in more Walmarts, then in about 5 years you can all cry about the good ole days before Walmart put everyone out of business.

Safeway is a west coast company that it totally out of touch with east coast customer service. Genuardi's is the reason this place started to get built up in the first place. People lived/moved out here to get away, not get dragged in to the land of Walmarts.

I don't know about anyone else in Royersford or Limerick but I can't even get out of my side street without tons of traffic and now a Wally World (Walmart...lol)!!! The roads in both communities were not made for this much traffic but the townships don't seem to care... Ever try to get off the Royersford Exit West to make the left onto Townshipline Road? That light stays red for 10 minutes and then only lets about 4 cars through!!! At 11pm at night the light is the same...I think we need an upgrade here. The light rotations are never checked; they were set back in 1999 and never checked again... With that said I say no to Wally World
I agree that light makes u wana die! It's absolutely horrific
