Supervisor Withheld Planning Board Application from Town Board

(Allaben)- From The Townsman: Shandaken Town Supervisor admitted he was not telling the truth when he announced at the December 29th year-end meeting of the Shandaken Town Board that he had only just received a single application for an opening on the town's Planning Board.
According to Shandaken Town Supervisor Peter DiSclafani, he had actually received the application from Redfield at the end of November but withheld it from other Board members. Asked why he had not been truthful on the matter, he replied, "I don't know why I did that."

I also wanted to comment on this article found in the Townsman and reprinted not in it's entirety. As I live in the Town of Shandaken am a member of the Green Party and have been a resident for 15 years off and on I wanted to say that Mr. DiScalfani's actions and comments, remind me of the other super-liar Bob Cross. I was really hoping that Discalfani would do good but it seems that he is just as obtuse as Bob Cross. Is there no one in Shandaken who isn't sneaky and conniving?
