May 18, 2011 I went to Kathy Coulter's office just to delivery a paper someone ask if I would drop by. When I arrived I ask where
I should put it. Some clerk told me she would put it in the proper place. The paper was sealed. The clerk, all I can say was a white lady with long hair, she never would give me her name. Told me she would open the letter and look at it then she would stamp it and put it in the in box. I have never heard of such, although I have never taken anything like this before, I was just being a delivery person. I did not open it and look at it.When do city clerk's have the right to open mail. I told her to go ahead, I would wait. She never made any kind of move to open it, she just stood there and looked at me. Finally I left with her holding the envelope, I have no idea that this was delivered to the person it was suppose to or not.As far as I know this clerk could have put it in the trash can.
Are these clerk's there to serve the public. Should they be voted on and put in office. who hires these people. What do we as citizen's of Russell county. The clerk's office has an open statement on the internt, they are their to help service the people. Who are the people, maybe not the citizen's of this county.
