After the "location manager" came by two months before they shot those scenes here, and told the local businesses in Phenix City that they (the production company) would reimburse any businesses lost revenue from the closing of the 13th street bridge (and then deciding not to do that), I have no desire to watch or participate in any movie production in the future without some form of protection for lost revenues. we are a brand new business and it cut into our receipts more than 40% with no recourse other than to sue.(which I and a few others are). other than a token offer to one local business, I don't know of anyone else being made whole. the whole thing was a disaster for phenix city businesses as far away as the 280 bypass. what a joke!
