Please, anyone that might work in a body shop where someone might have taken in a vehicle like this to be repaired.. I lost another friend the same way, and the driver took his car in saying that he had hit a deer.

John was everyone's best friend, and he will be dearly missed by SO many. No one deserves to be left like this, much less someone that has served his country like John Simmons did.

Please help to bring his family and friends peace and keep your eyes open, helping to look for this vehicle.
Being investigated in GA

Hello! I am so sorry for John's loss. If i knew who did it, I would turn him/her in.
My finance' is being investigated in this case because he drove down 280 and drives a white 2003 Yukon. HE DID NOT DO IT!!! He came home between 9:00-10:00 A.M. EST. There was nothing wrong with his Yukon... NOTHING!! We even went 4-wheeling soon after he got home. The Columbus Police and Alabama trooper has been questioning him, his work and even seized the Yukon. Six or more people showed up at our door at 10PM and seized the vehicle. The trooper would not answer any questions and just walked off. Our vehicle that we pay for and need was gone and we still do not know how or when we will get it back. My poor son is so confused about why all of the people were here and took our vehicle. We are so confused and in shock.
Two days later, the trooper called and wants my finance' to come to to Opelika to "talk". Yeah right! But, he didn't give him a time. Does he even care how stressful this is even if he is innocent??? Probably not... he should know by now he is barking up the wrong tree and is wasting the tax payers' money. Does he know how hard it is on a family when their vehicle is taken away and answers are unknown. I know he wants to catch the person and we hope he does SOON! Until he is cleared, which he will be, we will live in fear.
He would of never left the scene. He is the one who stops to help people when they need help. He is a very hard worker and does not have the means to fight all of this. We live pay check to pay check. How can this happen in America?? Don't we have rights???
We are praying for all of John's friends and family. We hope they find peace and the individual responsible for this... God help all of u.
