Big Time Football / Phenix City

Big time college football in the form of Troy State came to Phenix City today. Although the little scrimmage game gave a few people without jobs a place to go and something to do, What a joke. The joke was not the game but instead it was the site of the team leaving Hooter-ville via the 280-ByPass. One could not help but laugh. Some visitors passing through and looking for a hotel asked if we had dignitary's`s from Africa in town. They could only shake their heads and laugh when we explained what was going on.
There were four Large Buses running about 60mph. These were being escorted by four Alabama State Troopers, four city cops in patrol cars and two city cops on motorcycles. All blowing through red light after red light, wide-ass open with lights and sirens blasting. One poor elderly lady had to pull to the side of the road after almost having a heart attack when they blew past her. GET REAL PEOPLE! Is this what you get for your money? Law enforcement using your gas, your cars, and your money while drawing a check to run around escorting a third rate team from county to county to play football and busting people for not having the proper yard-sale permit? Phenix City and Alabama`s got it`s Priority`s in order once again.

You had real college football in Phenix City at one time. Remember the Stagg Bowl...Everything was fine until the victors attempted to pull down the goal-post after a victory.(It`s Tradition)...Except in P.C.
The P.C. Police Dept.took to the field, which in their eyes was a target rich enviornment, and began bludgeoning players, cheerleader's, visitors and fans with batons, flashlights and mace.
And the Point is ???
Shut-Up...Get in line...Buckle your seat belt...Get Back to work...Borrow some money from the Dudley`s and Greene`s...Get your car insurance...Stay in debt...And for God`s sake...Keep believing Greg Glass is an engineer and don't join the Union.
