Ok, to be honest, I haven't noticed whether he salutes or not in your scenarios. I can't recall seeing him board the chopper or the jet very much. I will say this: if he is not, then someone needs to clue him in immediately. Maybe we can draft Cheney for the job. I did notice when he went to Dover the other night, he did salute when the fallen soldier was borne past him. But other than that I have no recollection of what he does in those cases. Send him an e-mail and tell him what his duty is.
