Not true lizz.....americans arent doin the work mexicans do because they wont do it for 5 bucks an hour. Americans are some of the hardest workers out there. You must be mexican yourself.

I agree, alabama is under scrutiny because of our new laws about this. Its only one step in many that have to be taken to fix OUR state. I reported servpro on lakewood drive in pc, to the police department, I dont know if anything had changed but they are now hiring illegal mexicans to work for them. Jim and susan cullpeper should bed shutdown because of this. There hurting our local economy just as bad as those mexicans on victory drive. I dont care what race you are, if your not legal here get out! It just happends to be mostly mexicans who come over our boarders these days.

i have went through ten american maintenance men in two years and the two 'mexicans' i have will do what it takes to get the job done and done right the first time - any owner of any company at the end of the day wants and expects the same thing - hard work and appreciation for the opportunity to work - b/c there arent a lot of jobs out there!

COLUMBUS, Ga. Federal officials say 21 illegal immigrant workers were to appear in court today to face federal charges of identity theft and immigration violations for attempting to enter Fort Benning.
They were among 24 workers arrested Wednesday by Army security personnel and U-S Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials while trying to enter the base to do construction work on soldiers’ barracks. The three workers who are not facing criminal charges will be placed in immigration removal proceedings. The group includes 20 Mexican nationals, three Guatemalans and an Italian, according to a U-S Immigrations and Customs Enforcement news release.

Nine of the 21 facing charges are accused of either possessing or using fraudulent identity documents, and another was accused of re-entering the country after deportation. The remaining eleven defendants are accused of improper entry by an alien.

I have seen this quote to be very true in the workplace. Although I must confesses I know nothing of illegals taking jobs, but the data that I have gathered thus far indicates that what is said is true. The American workforce is somewhat complacent in the idea that they have self entitlement issues. This is why we as a nation are looked down as workers. The illegals are just invoking the idea of Capitol invigoration, because we are to lazy to do it ourselves. We want everything handed to us. This is why Japanese companies are reluctant to hire American workers. Think about it.

No you greedy pile of dung. It`s people like you who are the reason this country is failing not the American Workforce! It`s people like you who have no problem with the CEO. of a failing bank getting a paycheck of (15)million a year for running the economy in the ground but you do have a problem paying a skilled plumber (27)dollars an hour for a place to rest your fat greedy a$$ to take a Dump!

People like you and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Lobby are doing your best on a daily basis to push your corporate wall-street agenda which is, pay workers less so you can make more. I hope someday you find yourself in a ditch with your skull split open by some pissed off union guy with a family to feed! America worked best when workers said union YES! If unions are not important to this country then why the hell does corporate America spend BILLIONS every year trying to get rid of them you wormy pile of crap!

Hey cod, you need to calm the f%*^ down! Go get a job at Burger King and get a union going if you believe in them so much! There is no reason for the unions anymore. All they do is take money from their members and then get companies to close down. It happened in Columbus with Hostess. I for one was happy to see the union cost all their members a job! Now the new owners are coming in, but no union. I bet no one will mention the word union at Hostess. The workers need to realize who is in charge and who is not. If the worker wants to make more money then go to college and earn a degree! If a company is doing something wrong or illegal then there are plenty of ambulance chasing lawyers who will be glad to bring legal action against the offending party. My guess based on previous posts by you is that you're a convict who cannot get a decent paying job, and because of this find it easier to blame everyone else for your low life standard of living. Im just saying.

Contrary to your beliefs, I`d say my standard of living may be better than most. No huge bank or credit card debt, house is paid for, truck, auto, and second home on water in Florida paid for. Pretty good health and no real need for me to look at one of your low paying jobs. By the way, I have a Master in two fields. Can I bother to ask what union you belonged to? Otherwise you have no clue about union membership other than what you hear on Fox News!
