I have seen more than a few kids on FB and twitter saying they are leaving.
Athletes, and we all know we need more of those.
Asked Mike about it and he said "They will be back, realize it is not as great as they think"
Really?
How many are gone?

If they want to make something of their lives, leaving is the best decision they could ever possibly make!

Problem is phelps doesn't have a school, just a daycare when the 4-wheeler is broken down. Thankfully I didn't ever spend a day there. SVHS is a real school. With an actual sports program. Kids over here are cheated and I blame parents as much as lazy teachers. Of course that's all the PCBOE will pay for over here. It's the kids losing in the end.

Perhaps you should have received your education at Belfry as well. Maybe they could have taught you grammar, punctuation, and spelling. It's good to know that he has "learnt" so much.

Yeah Jonda, but I guess it was bad when you went to Phelps. Remember kids getting in trouble for screwing in the stairwells? At least the kids ACT a lot better these days and not like total whores.
If they mess up today they get ARRESTED.

Phelps schools are always going to be the last in line for funding. We're a Single A school so the best of everything will ALWAYS go to the larger ones. I honestly don't know what I would do if I were in the position to choose which system to put my child in. I'd most likely go the larger route as well. I graduated from Phelps...I know what kind of education they provide. It's there, if you choose to partake of it that is. Otherwise, you can slide right on by with no objection from anyone, as I did. I suppose I've given my identity away with that statement, but oh well. I'll always be a Hornet at heart, but when it comes to my child's education, I want the best. I honestly don't know what I would do if I were in that position. You can't put down people that want better for their children. At least they care enough to take the necessary steps to ensure a better life for their children. It may not be what YOU would do....but YOU aren't responsible for their kid...THEY are.

Christina that a bunch of BS. Several faculty members tried over and over to talk some sense into you but you were H bent and Determined to do what YOU Wanted. "You can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink". So STOP the poor lil me no one cared I was wild attitude. Those who remember know better.

I'm sorry, who is Christina? Also, I didn't quite mean that the way it sounded. Personally, I don't understand how I passed with what little work I did...but I did. Not trying to point fingers or lay blame on anyone. I was the one who chose to do the things I did. My point was only that Phelps is a decent school for those willing to get involved.

Nope, this dumb bitch is posting from my home in OHIO. Smee sounds like a smart person though, so thanks I guess. And I certainly have never felt sorry for myself because of the mistakes that I alone have made. You people are grasping at straws, find something else to do.
