Rock port football is pathetic.Next year they will be lucky to win a game and that includes Tarkio.
im very sorry to hear that when i was in school rockport won practically all there games including the championship!
Who are the coaches now? |
I don't understand how someone could be so unhappy with themselves that all they can do is put others down. One thing you can't bash or kill is Rock Port Pride, so get over yourself! |
Wow, that is so true! Im a grad of"81" and that RP pride still lives in me...
It doesn't get any better then RPH! I Guarantee it!!!! |
RP isnt much better then Tarkio, if Tarkio had a half decent QB they'd probably score points! The QB now looks like a chicken scratching for a way out.
scrap iron....You need to probably learn what you're talking about before you speak. You're whats pathetic! The team is down but if you remember 3 years ago they had a undefeted regular season. Also made the playoffs this year.
They made the playoff because they played a bunch of religious schools. When they had to play Gallatin the got spanked by 50 points.Until then they didnt play a team with a winning record and the district was so week that the only wins that the teams in it had were against each other during districts. Those shirts are a joke. The say undefeated but everyone knows the truthl Next year they will only beat Tarkio....maybe

Football is gay.

Looks like your gay Dr. Thompson however I doubt your a doctor grow up and get real however you are Vegas Happy all the time
'get real however you are Vegas Happy all the time'?? What the hell does that even mean??
well...too bad they played gallatin LAST year and not this year. Hell Tarkio almost beat gallatin this year. Religious schools? to make it to the playoffs you have to make it out of districts...and i don't think Tarkio, King City, or Albany are religious

Oh wow, I can only hope that you are a teeny bopper… surely adults are not bashing a High School football team. That would truly be pathetic. After all, these kids go out there and do their best…only to be called pathetic? Rock Port has had many great years of football and I’m sure there will be more to come. To the Rock Port football team: Win or Lose, remember who you are and where you’re from; keep your BlueJay pride, make memories and have fun! |

I have to agree with the person above. It would be a sad day to know that an adult would have nothing better to do that bash kids. They say that High School is where you learn to be an adult. It is very appearant that scrap iron kadaski is no more that a 6th grader that has a problem playing with others. That being said all teams have off years. Complicate that with low numbers and your bound to struggle. All teams have ruff years - which will build character in a program full of pride and tradition. One thing is for sure a True BlueJay will overcome trials and struggles; and use it to grow into a strong confident adult. Maybe others should try it.
hey scrap iron I doubt you ever played football or you sat on the bench while the real players played. Football goes in cycles. The boys that play wear the blue and white and that gives them immediate respect. You on the other hand deserve none. Those who play win or lose are winners, those who criticize high school athletes are LOSERS... |

I'm an old "73 graduate of RPHS. During my years we had wins and losses. It's part of the game. Football like any other sport is there to foster and promote teamwork. How you play the game and hpw hard you try is what is most important. All teams want to win. Yes i was a student manager and did not hit the field except to help injured players, but they considered me a part of the team and i supported them win or lose! GO BLUEJAYS!

the thing is tarkio is a learning program they have had 5 new coaches in 5 years the coach now will be here for 2 its a process..atleast they are in a conference..lets check something out like basketball wont beat there ass in that good luck last years team for tarkio was good they graduated alot with david debuhr and kaleb pitts both very good athletes..had younger guys and worked with them.rock port was successful because of zach murphy who is unbelievable so

I agree that both Rock Port and Tarkio deserve credit for being out there and trying, and not being trashed cause they lose some games. Maybe they both had an off year in football, but they still went out there everyday and practiced hard and tried their best come game time. It's pretty sad when you look at the stands at the games now. I guarantee if both schools were winning the stands would be packed, but since they aren't, then I guess you all feel they don't need your support, but sure feel confortable about bashing both teams. If your son was out there and trying their hardest, would you bash them too? I want to see both teams to do well, but I'm not going to sit back and bash the kids that are trying out there. Give them a break and give them some credit for how hard they do try. I promise you that noone wants to win more then they do, especially when they are busting their butt everyday in practice. I don't see them giving up, but It's obvious most of you all already made up your mind and gave up. Too sad!

What a horrible to thing to say about this kid. Do you even know him as a person? Regardless if you do or don't. Calling him names is just wrong. It takes more then a QB to win a game. I'm sure you wouldn't like it if your son{if you have any} was out there trying and seeing someone call him names. I give all the kids credit for hanging in there. Yes it may not be like the 80's football team, but who cares. At least the kids are trying. |
I didn't call any kid a name. This QB got his position because of who he is, not his ability to play. That's the way it is in small towns, it's why most small towns suck. basketball, baseball, football, they are all the same, if your daddy makes alot of money or is "one of the gang" then you are going to play. It has always been this way.
