Tired of seeing them I enjoy the McCain signs. Those that put up the McCain signs have some real guts. With those crazy (young people) Obama supporters vandalizing McCain signs and who knows what else they do to you if you have one of these in your yard.

Obama was their "community organizer" and thought them to vandalize too. Isn't Obama changing his stand every day on issues and lying about his past and present association with friends-in-crime.

It's sooo Sad, that you people don't have a life and spend your time in limbo with No Hope of Change, God didn't give the world to any Race of people to control or make demands of others. He created all Life and it is to be appreciated, Pursuit of Happiness is just that, Let people alone, don't destroy or degrade anyone's property or person, YOU don't have the answers if you did you would have a life. OBAMA is just what this country needs to pull up it's priniciple and leadership status, McCain and Palin are like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Just go VOTE or shut-Up.

I live in Williamson County, north of Austin and heavily Republican. It's almost embarassing now to admit I was afraid to put up an Obama sign on my yard for fear of vandalism. Local news reports of Obama signs being vanalized and stolen in Austin and central Texas only convince me that some McCain-Palin supporters are afraid too. Fear breeds cowardly, hateful acts as well as inaction. So after voting early for Obama-Biden last week I broke the oppressive chain of fear and took more action - I posted my Obama sign and nothing has happened so far. And even if it does, I take courage with this image:

But I am hopeful my neighbors will respect my political choice as much as I respect theirs.

Re: "Obama was their "community organizer" and thought them to vandalize too."

For the record, Sen. Obama was an excellent community organizer, constitutional law professor, and state senator. I truly respect the service of Sen. McCain, he's just not my choice for President. Obama has inspired a lot of regular folks like me to work for our communities and continue our education, even if we don't pursue a career in politics. "Them", or Obama's supporters aren't a bunch a vandals, they're folks like me who have the audacity to believe change starts at home and in our communities.

Everyone has their right to vote and for whom. Yes Obama has inspired alot of people, but, for his own gain in his belief of what America should be. He really is not being honest He speaks such beautiful words that all blacks whites hispanics etc. just want to be true. Words that have already been spoken by our GOD. Obama has plans to change America to a socialist country goverened by the same type of policital parties but worse now, because we the people will not have the freedom to vote and win against him. Who and where do you think he has obtained all his money from?? These poor middle class people that cant pay their mortgage or buy food. Try leaders of other countrys that WANT him in because they know his beliefs that coincide with their own.
People....America will Never be the same again if he is chosen. Why would anyone want someone elses money??? They worked just as hard as we do. It is hand out just like welfare that kept the blacks down. I for one would be thankful to receive a check but I could not keep it if it came from someone else that is working hard to make it in life. Obama needs to stop spending so much money and his over 2 mil on his supposedly election nigh party and give to all the middleclass.
Just investigate both sides.

To LadyJ. Funny you just say that the republicans have no life and no hope. Exactly the opposite. We are the strong and the ones fulfilling our dreams through our own hard work. We do not live and die by the HOPE of some other man called Obama. Thankfully I have a life and the rest of us do also. It is the weak that have to rely on so called hope of a man that will be Presiden shortly.
On top of that adding that the Hope is from a Man that lies and has very strange relationships with very bad people. Guess you HOPE we forgot about that and HOPE that he does not continue that practice.

God bless you and hope you find the Hope you need to continue and find the life that you deserve. Hopefully...

Better man??? Are you nuts? The man that won got more votes. That is IT.

No one in their right man can argue that Obama can even come close to the greatness that McCain has. Don't think Obama will be serving our Country in the military any time soon (only as figure head leader of our military).

Give me a break.

I totally would agree with the statement "the man that got the most votes one". But never would I agree the better man won. PLEEEAAASSSEEE.

We will all accept that the person who got more votes is the new President and move on. Totally agree with you on all points made.

That "great" man should have washed out of flight school and would have if he weren't the son of an admiral. He dumped an aircraft in Corpus Christi Bay while training and should have been kicked out. He destroyed another aircraft by foolish flying. He went below deck and didn't help to put out a raging fire on a carrier after he jumped out of his aircraft. Flew off to Saigon the next day for R&R ..... No regular Navy or Marine pilots get to just 'decide' when they're leaving when they're assigned to a carrier.

Even if he did that and much much more bad things, McCain is still a much better man than Obama. You will lose this argument, so save your fingers for something more productive. Like keeping them crossed that Obama's *(second Clinton administration) does well this time around.

I will be crossing mine and hoping he does a great job for our country.

God bless the USA.

NO "great" man leaves a flight deck to save his own butt and leaves his crew mates to fight a horrific fire - I don't care what you say. He IS NOT a better man than Obama. Especially when there is speculation that he caused the bombs on his own aircraft to drop and made the fire much worse.

Prove it :)

Seems with the media in the tank for Obama, there is no doubt in my mind this would have been repeated on the news every 5 minutes if it had any chance of being fact.

So, again let's cross our fingers together and pray that Obama does not cause our fall, but keep us the great country that we are.

Nice try, but McCain is still a better man by far. BTW Hillary is also a better person than Obama, even with the skeletons in her closet, they are not half as bad as the ones in Obama's.

I knew I should have posted these. Actually I admire Obama for not yammering about this the way Sarah Palin yammered about him.

Nice try. Trust the rolling stone do we?

And as Caiella also notes in his account, the investigation found that in the wartime pressure to get planes launched quickly crews had not observed two key safety precautions that could have prevented the stray spike of electricity from firing the rocket. The “pigtail” that connects the plane’s wiring to the missile had been plugged in prematurely, before the plane was on the catapult, and a safety pin that also would have prevented the firing also had been removed.

Freeman has posted an item on his own Web site flatly stating that McCain was in no way responsible for the accident. "McCain was never suspected of causing the fire because investigators determined immediately that the rocket misfired from the other side of the flight deck," writes Freeman.

Caiella agrees. He told us:“There is no possible way John McCain could have caused the fire on board the Forrestal.... McCain's only connection with the investigation was as a witness, in both a written deposition shortly after the fire and later in sworn testimony to the board.”

So AGAIN. Let's agree to disagree and both cross our fingers and pray Obama does not bring this country down.

Ok with me. We disagree.. I would like to add that because my nephew is a Marine pilot who is now stationed in Pensacola as a flight instructor, I had a professional opinion to help my decision. He flew a tour over Afganistan, 2 tours over Iraq and volunteered to go back as forward ground support in Fallujah when Fallujah was in the news every night. Semper Fi.

God bless your nephew and I will pray that he is safe. Thank him for myself and my family for choosing to be a Marine. I commend him on his very brave choice to serve our country.

Take care.
