Looking to relocate to the Austin area and would like any info on good areas to live in. Pflugerville looks nice over the internet, but would like some other opinions

Pflugerville is nice if you want to live near a big city but dont want to be in one. Nearly everything in this area is a 20-30 minute drive cept at rush hour. Cedar Park is also popular but some say its overcrowded. Pflugerville also is right on new toll road systems 130 & 45.

Pflugerville is very nice. You have access to all the things you need and it is close to Austin, Round Rock, Wells Branch...

Ok, let's be honest here. Pville is ugly. How many car part stores do we need? oops, there goes another one on 685. Oh right next to the other one. Ugly, ugly, ugly. And don't even get me started on the storage facilities.

just moved to pflugerville and so far I'm not impressed, but can't do nothing about it now since we bought a home. Round Rock is much nicer, Forrest Creek is the best subdivision.

I agree. Way too many auto parts stores and dollar stores.

If not for the Californians, Texas would be a dust bowl. I can clearly see that Texans are jealous of such a beautiful state as California.

This town is filthy and the crime rates are going out the roof. I will warn you now, DO NOT BUY A HOME HERE. Absolutely hate it!!

stay away from Pflugerville !! at all costs, just heed my advice. Crimes rates are high, taxes high, utilities extremely high, and the housing is mediocre to say the least. Just avoid at all costs!!!

Pflugerville USED to be nice. But now has gotten bad. If you read the local newspapers you will see lots of people committing crimes that live in Pflugerville. I would not live here. We are moving out as soon as we can. Somewhere along the years this place turned ghetto for sure. Just check police reports and I think that will convince you. By the way...our house will be for sale soon, if you are interested.:)

I can promise that you won't love it long when your brand new cars and homes are being broken into. Been there, done that, moved away.
